This role involves working across multiple skilled trades — including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing — to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
The technician will perform preventive maintenance, install new equipment, and maintain compliance with company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
Conduct troubleshooting to identify root causes of mechanical or electrical issues.
Complete preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and ensure proper lubrication of equipment.
Support installation and setup of new machinery and systems.
Maintain records of maintenance work and project activities.
Follow safety procedures, maintenance documentation, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Collaborate with production teams and other departments to minimize downtime.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial or electromechanical maintenance, or completion of a recognized maintenance apprenticeship program.
Proficient in mechanical systems, including power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity.
Strong communication skills for working with production and support personnel.
Must have a strong record of reliability and attendance.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform all required physical duties.
Must pass a maintenance aptitude or skills assessment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & INTERACTIONS Reports directly to a Maintenance Supervisor.
