Clinical Scope (Expected IR Services)

The Interventional Radiologist will provide a broad range of image-guided procedures within a hospital-based IR service line. Typical procedures may include:

  • Image-guided biopsies
  • Drain placements
  • Port placements

  • Paracentesis / Thoracentesis
  • Dialysis access procedures
