A Shipping and Receiving associate is responsible for facilitating incoming and outgoing parts on a daily basis. The S&R team unloads and properly checks in the overnight shipments to then be distributed on our delivery fleet. They are trained in all quality control processes including inspecting, packaging, auditing and fulfilling orders. This team works closely with the distribution supervisor as well as the team of delivery drivers on a daily basis to ensure customers receive parts in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Unloads overnight transfer trucks.
- Inspects incoming parts to verify proper condition.
- Assists in loading delivery drivers.
- Manages outgoing parcels efficiently and effectively by placing merchandise in an organized and understandable manner and ensuring tags are visible.
- Prepares parts/merchandise for storage and/or shipment using proper bagging, tagging, wrapping and packaging to prevent damage.
- Effectively communicates and resolves any discrepancies from the customer's order specifications using the supplied handheld device.
- Regularly conducts audits of outgoing deliveries to confirm transit status.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including production, distribution, and management, to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Effectively loads mid-day internal transfer trucks.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Language Ability:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
Certificates and Licenses:
Forklift certification. Training and certification available.

Pay Frequency: Weekly
Salary: $18-$22/hr
Paid Time Off
Scheduling: Full time shifts are 5 days a week Monday through Friday working 40 hours a week. 4AM - 12PM shifts with a mandatory 30 minute lunch break or an optional 1 hour lunch Break.
Tools and Equipment: We provide the tools necessary to complete the job such as tablets/scanners for part processing, company email, personal accounts for management systems, procedure documents, proper PPE, etc.
Training: We offer a 90 day grace period with a 2 week paid training period allowing you to become familiar with the role.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Support the growth and maintenance of the Foodservice, Janitorial, and Services contract portfolio and program. Assist in monitoring regional and national food service, janitorial, and services group purchasing programs. Support revenue growth, member/vendor relations, contract administration, and contract negotiations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote the mission, policies, and procedures of Pandion Optimization Alliance.
- Support day-to-day operations of foodservice, janitorial and services to include contract negotiations, contract analysis and management oversight.
- Establish and maintain strong member and vendor relationships.
- Assist the team that supports third-party providers
- Develop Quarterly Statements for the Strategic partners (50% + of volume is Food)
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for Foodservice programs
- Expand Pandion direct agreements which an emphasis on, but not limited to: Milk, Bread and Produce by geographic region.
- Identify opportunities for new contract development with new and improved extensions
- Facilitate market basket development and interpret a market basket.
- Act as SME for all facets of foodservice operations (menu, production, staffing, retail operations, facility type items, etc.)
- Engage in professional development through seminars, workshops, and training.
- This position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment and technology.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically.
- Must be willing to attend meetings and move about facilities as needed and possess a willingness to travel for meetings and events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND PREFERRED SKILLS
- Bachelorβs degree preferred (or working toward completion).
- Contract negotiation experience required.
- 3-5 yearsβ experience in the foodservice industry is a plus.
- Demonstrate an interest in analytical research, leadership, and strategic planning.
- Strong relationship-building, communication skills, and presentation ability.
- Creative and strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; Strong writing and content development skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Action-oriented and eager to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with program management and CRM software is a plus.
- General understanding of healthcare industry trends is a plus.
