Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection, documentation, and certification of critical components throughout the production process, including parts subject to flight safety requirements. This role ensures compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements through precise measurement and rigorous recordkeeping.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



Performs various inspection activities utilizing precision inspection equipment at all phases of product manufacturing. Uses GD&T concepts, customer supplied specifications, and internal standards, to ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and other regulatory requirements.




  • Read and understand complex engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications.
  • Compare recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notify specified persons of discrepancies using NCF and MRB process
  • Familiarity with the use of various inspection and measurement equipment, i.e. CMM, FARO Arm, Borescope, Optical Comparator, etc. preferred
  • Strong understanding of units of measure and applicability to GD&T principles
  • Must be self-motivated and able to adjust to a dynamic work environment and tempo while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong professional ethics combined with the ability to function well on teams.


Position Requirements

  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or similarly regulated industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with performing various inspection activities to include, i.e., 1st piece, in-process, final inspections
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledgeable of MS Word, and Excel
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in the operation of CMM's preferred (Mitutoyo/Metris/Zeiss)
  • Familiarity with operation/programming of FARO arm preferred

Position Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Performing general repair and alteration of various costumes
  • Operating sewing equipment
  • Assisting in the laundering of costumes
  • Constructing special costumes and specialty show projects as assigned
  • Maintaining the structural integrity and design of the Licensed Characters as to not distort the appearance of the characters
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for Guests and Team Members
  • Complying with all Six Flags New England policies and procedures
  • Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of clothing construction, alterations, and repair
  • Previous experience preferred in any or all of the following; serger, industrial machines & other tools to assist in maintenance of costumes
  • Previous theatrical costume experience helpful
  • Self-Motivated skills to work independently, without direct supervision
  • Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner with large groups of people
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record helpful in fulfilling errands and supply orders
  • Sense of fun
  • Willing to work in a high performance team environment
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.

  • Developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that align with brand guidelines
  • Creating visually appealing displays that tell a story and enhance the overall guest experience
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to synchronize visual presentation with new product launches and seasonal events
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinate merchandising initiative with relevant stores
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to ensure visual merchandising is in line with promotional campaigns
  • Conducting regular audits of visual merchandising standards in the stores and ensure compliance
  • Training and guiding store employees on best practices for maintaining visual merchandising standards
  • Ensuring that all merchandise displays are consistently maintained, replenished, and organized for optimal presentation
  • Ensuring signage and window displays are maintained
  • Staying updated with industry trends and competitor offerings in order to innovate and improve our visual merchandising efforts
  • Maintaining a neat, friendly, and pleasant demeanor
