GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for the Customer’s Own Material (COM) program across MillerKnoll Brands working as the liaison between the dealer, designer, sales, fabric suppliers, internal supporting teams and all manufacturing locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manages the Customer’s Own Material (COM) process for all MillerKnoll brands (Herman Miller, Knoll, Nemschoff, Muuto, Geiger, Naughtone)
- Works directly with the Material/CMF, Marketing and IT teams relating to systems issues, functionality and improvements of the COM System
- Maintains data integrity of all COM information residing in the COM System working closely with the Materials/CMF team
- Works directly with Muuto Supply Chain team in Denmark and Muuto European suppliers on all Muuto COM testing and production orders
- Maintains data integrity in the Muuto COM Database which is managed outside of the Herman Miller COM System
- Point of contact for all COM process questions both internally and externally
- Assists dealers, designers and sales team with access to the Omni Navigation and COM System as well as the Muuto COM Database to obtain accurate COM information for order placement
- Oversees the Swatch Reference Program with obtaining and maintaining proper COM pictures and fabric detail for all MillerKnoll Manufacturing locations
- Process all COM Test and Colorway Set Up Requests submitted through the COM System
- Act as the procurement agent for MillerKnoll purchased COM’s from the fabric suppliers who are part of the Supplier Connection Program issuing purchase orders through Baan and Maximo
- Determines if order moves to Scheduling or placed on hold pending receipt of fabric
- Oversees all COM fabric receipts, proper identification and packing list allocations to inhouse customer orders for all MillerKnoll brands and determines if order moves to Scheduling or remains on hold pending additional fabric receipt
- Coordinates testing, production orders and material receipt and transfer according to where the product is being built
- Investigates and problem solves any COM application issues, fabric shortages and transferring/shipping issues that occur
- Investigates international shipping and customs clearance delays for fabric in transit to the Muuto European supplier network
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, social sciences, or equivalent years of experience.
- 4-5 years' experience in a customer service professional, sales, or a direct commercial customer contact position that involves extensive multimedia (phone, email, web-based) contact; manufacturing or service industry preferred.

The Member Services Attendant provides Front Desk presence to greet customers at the St.
Luke’s Fitness & Sports Performance Centers.
Communicates effectively with all customers to assist with the recruitment and maintenance of Fitness & Sports Performance clients.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides outstanding Customer Service when meeting and greeting current and prospective members, sports performance and/or sports medicine clients/members.
Recruits and books memberships by dispensing information and answering questions regarding memberships, sports performance services and fees, and camp/clinic fees, via both in-person tours, virtually and over the phone, in a professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic way.
Closely monitors member check-ins, resolving any problems with courtesy and respect.
Schedules appointments for new bookings, sports performance assessments, and program reviews.
Processes membership contracts and rentals, ensuring that all signatures and billing fields are complete and accurate.
Processes payments in the Billing systems, runs required reports, prepares all monies and paperwork for Cash Accounting.
Enters all member and participant data completely and accurately in the Membership Tracking System and required Billing systems.
Works closely with the Sports Performance Coaches and Sports Medicine Staff to ensure that every Sports Performance participant has an outstanding experience every time they use the Centers.
Maintains daily/weekly social media postings for Facebook in conjunction with the Department’s Marketing Partner.
Assists Director of Sports Performance and Office Coordinator with other duties as needed.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to 8 hours per day, up to 4 hours at a time.
Standing or walking for up to 3 hours per day, 1 hour at a time.
Some bending, some reaching above shoulder level.
Frequent fingering and handling while typing or writing.
Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
Hearing as it applies to normal conversation and telephone use.
Seeing as it relates to normal and peripheral vision.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: High-energy individual with an appreciation for the sports performance field.
Outstanding customer service skills required.
Excellent communication skills required.
Must have proficient computer skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
CPR certification required within first 30 days of start date.
Entry-level understanding of equipment and training programs.
