Specialty Pharmacist – Oncology

Join Mercy’s dedicated oncology team as a Specialty Pharmacist, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients through complex cancer treatments. Overview:

Works with members of the health care team to provide safe and effective drug therapy. Serves as a drug information resource to pharmacy, nursing, and medical staffs as well as to patients. Qualifications:

• Required Experience: Completed PGY-1 residency.

• Preferred Experience: Completed PGY-2 residency in Oncology

• Required Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in pharmacy degree.

• Certifications: Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) recommended

• Licensure: Requires a current pharmacist license from state of practice.

Position Type: Seasonal PRN
Target Candidate: Current nursing students who have completed Fundamentals of Nursing and are seeking seasonal work while enrolled in school.

We are seeking motivated current nursing students who have successfully completed their Fundamentals of Nursing coursework and are looking for seasonal, PRN experience while continuing their education.

Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, the Nurse Technician helps provide individualized and compassionate patient care. This role supports the healthcare team through clinical tasks and essential patient‑care activities that contribute to overall wellness.

• Provide daily hygiene and routine care
• Assist with ambulation, turning/positioning, and mobility needs
• Support dietary needs and monitor skin integrity
• Record patient data and vitals in the EMR
• Prepare charts for admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Perform point‑of‑care testing or specimen collection (if applicable)
• Observe and report patient condition changes promptly
