Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

Handling month-end activities and creating necessary journal entries for expenses, assets, and liabilities.

Reconciling all balance sheet accounts and maintaining general ledger.

Processing employee expense reports, verifying expenses are within the company policy, correcting errors, questioning abnormal expenses and entering into the finance system.

Reviewing and processing invoices and conducting a 3-way match to ensure that invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports are consistent.

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
7.
Ensuring compliance with state revenue service, federal, and local requirements.
8.
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
9.
Using bookkeeping software, online spreadsheets, and databases (Oracle Sage) to record, store and analyze data.

Monitoring timesheets for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Bookkeeper position should possess the following qualifications: 1.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the engineering industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
3.
Experience with Oracle Sage and other accounting software.
4.
Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

Excellent problem solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
