As the Head of Product & Programs at Proper Voltage you will be the driving force behind the definition and delivery of our portfolio of products. You will set a clear product vision and translate it into executable programs that align the business around a single, coherent direction.
This role owns the path from concept through production and field deployment, shaping what we build, why we build it, and how it comes together. Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Organisation Building
- Build and lead a team spanning product management, technical program management, systems engineering and product data management
- Act as a trusted partner to the executive team in building and delivering our product vision

- Product Data & Configuration Control
- Own product structure, configuration management, and change control processes.
- Ensure product data integrity across the product lifecycle

Required Qualifications:
- Proven success in leading product development teams on complex electromechanical products from concept through to production
- Deep understanding of engineering and manufacturing development process and tools
- Demonstrated experience operating with high levels of ambiguity
- 12 or more years of experience in technical program management, systems, new product introduction or product engineering
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong technical background with comfort in multidisciplinary environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to enforce process consistency.

- Prior experience with:

Work with the Director of Merchandising on the planning, development, and execution of
an organization's merchandise strategy. This role involves analyzing market trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels. The goal is to maximize sales and profitability while ensuring that the merchandise aligns with the company's brand and customer expectations.
The strategic link between the product team and our cross functional partners in marketing, planning and sales.
Assortment Planning:
- Participate in merchandising strategies and creation of seasonal assortment plans to build profitable assortments that will meet internal margin goals
- Partner with Director of Merchandising on seasonal style line plan creation and maintenance including but not limited to style number creation, color codes, and product variable data coding for PLM system
- Set and adjust pricing strategies to optimize sales and

Business Reporting & Analysis:
- Assist in monitoring weekly sales, analyzing style performance and market trends to better understand channel specific needs and opportunities

M&D Calendar:
- Assist the Director of Merchandising in maintaining the design calendar and development process to ensure timely completion
- Participate in development Milestone Meeting preparation, including sketch reviews, line assortment reviews, proto reviews, pricing and margin reviews, and internal sales presentations
GTM Calendar:
- Work with Director of Merchandising to set seasonal primary and secondary product marketing stories
- Develop Briefs for Creative Production
- Complete Channel Boxes in GTM Calendar
Sample Management
- Work closely with production to manage incoming photo samples
- Organize, maintain, and prepare samples for merchant presentations and requests from
- business partners
- Manage and organize the sample archive
Wholesale and E-Commerce Asset Creation
- Collaborate with the creative team on product descriptions
- Create shot list for seasonal photo assets and work closely with in-house photographer to
- ensure completion
- Work with Director of Merchandising on styling of both mens and womens collections, and
- assist on photoshoots
- Review photo assets and ensure they meet Outerknown standards
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Monitors and directs concierge, boats, Kids Klub, and guest experience.
Creates, organizes and implements activities for all age ranges.
Acts as a liaison between resort outlets/activities and guests, including dissemination of accurate information.
Ensures clean, well stocked and organized work areas including concierge, hospitality desk, resort activities desk, information desk, resort activities office and front office storeroom.
Managing Departmental Budgets Manages wages and controllable expenses within budgeted guidelines.
Monitors and controls all expenses with requisition sheets, purchase orders, purchase log, invoices, and C-7s.
Manages the department's budget in the areas of man hours and wages.
Reads and comprehends operating statements and budget worksheets.
Conducting Human Resources Activities Provides constructive coaching and counseling to employees.
Supports the development, training, and mentoring of employees.
Demonstrates knowledge of how and when to impose deadlines and delegate tasks.
Motivates and provides a work environment in which employees are productive.
Listens and responds to employee's needs.
Manages group or interpersonal conflict situations effectively.
Develops and manages hourly employees.
