Henry Ford Health has robust Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Training programs with affiliations to Michigan State University School of Human Medicine, Wayne State University School of Medicine and the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. We are expanding our Academic faculty to fulfill our mission of clinical service, teaching, and research.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons wishing to pursue a full-time academic position should be interested in a full scope hospital-based practice with regular on call responsibilities. Additionally, all new faculty will have an opportunity to work in both nationally and internationally recognized tertiary care/level I trauma centers and state of the art ambulatory care facilities.
New faulty will be eligible for academic appointment and promotion through the medical schools.
Qualifications
A successful candidate:

- Possesses the drive to pursue specialty related scholarly activity.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, required to interact with various levels of resident learners, clinical leadership, and administration.
