Education/Experience/Licensures:

• Graduation from a U.S. accredited four year dental school (DDS/DMD) required.
• Post-graduate of a U.S. surgical program with certificate to practice Oral Surgery
• Unrestricted, active dental license in state of operation
• DEA registration
• Current ACLS AND BLS certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance.
• Experience with All-on-X procedure

Duties:

• Perform dental implant surgery including the extraction of teeth and alveolectomy as necessary
• Work in close collaboration with the restorative doctor to aid in treatment planning cases for optimal outcomes
• Examine, diagnose and provide treatment plans to patients in a comprehensive manner
• Work in accordance with Center policies and procedures, safety, OSHA and MSDS guideline

You MUST HAVE a PhD in an Animal Science or Food Safety discipline to be considered. This is non-negotiable. New grad or combination of USDA manufacturing and PhD will be considered. This is a highly "hands-on" individual contributor role that requires a balance of floor-level implementation and high-level scientific strategy. You will report directly to the Technical Services Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Scientific Validation: Design and oversee validation studies for antimicrobial interventions and shelf-life stability.
• Regulatory Liaison: Act as a technical point of contact for USDA-FSIS inspectors and lead the plant through comprehensive audits.
• HACCP Management: Develop, implement, and maintain rigorous HACCP, HARPC, and SSOP programs specifically tailored to beef slaughter and fabrication.
• Hands-on Monitoring: Spend significant time on the production floor validating that the theoretical food safety programs are being executed correctly in practice.

Education

The Safety, Health & Environmental Manager (SHE) will provide oversight, directions, and be accountable for the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) programs for dsm-firmenich manufacturing operations in Anaheim, CA. Additionally, will be responsible for the SHE management of the overall site including offices and laboratories. They will also serve as the site’s initial point of contact for safety and environmental related questions.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting and providing process maintenance and continuous improvement for all safety programs of the Anaheim, CA location, which include hands on assistance, program implementation, training, and organization of monthly meetings and inspections.
• Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, OSHA and FSSC 22000, with an understanding of dsm-firmenich’s SHE Policies and Procedures. The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $95,000-$150,000.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
