• Align plant operational capacities with corporate planning systems.
• Evaluate long- and short‑term capacity constraints (equipment, labor, materials).
• Recommend, revise, and execute final production plans.
• Represent Planning on the plant leadership team, promoting communication and collaboration.
• Manage production workflows to optimize inventory levels and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain and adjust the production plan based on forecast changes and sales activity.
• Monitor and adjust WIP levels and component availability to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Manage finished goods inventory levels across facilities within control limits.
• Control product flow to packaging to prevent obsolescence/expiry.
• Oversee inventory at outside storage locations.
• Track daily cooler inventory and product code rotation for accuracy and traceability.
• Partner with Procurement to determine raw material needs.
• Develop and implement formulation production plans.
• Create contingency plans for plant issues and resolve capacity or scheduling conflicts.
• Manage shipment status to ensure on‑time, accurate customer delivery.
• Serve as a technical resource for the Allergen program.
• Manage the day‑to‑day activities of the Production Scheduler.
• Set goals, develop skills, provide training, and support career growth.
• Monitor and maintain planning department budget.
• Proactively evaluate and improve process flow to reduce time‑to‑fill and increase planning accuracy.

About YOU

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or Production Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Microsoft 365 proficiency required.
• ERP experience required; IFS preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (local or overnight).

About the Role

• Lead and produce comprehensive, accurate cost estimates for electrical scopes (materials, labour, equipment, subcontractor costs) across complex commercial, industrial, and infrastructure/roadway projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
• Review and analyse technical documents including drawings, specifications, tender packages, and Bills of Quantities to define scope, identify risks, and determine optimal estimating approaches.
• Manage the end-to-end tender process, coordinating with internal teams (pre-construction, project management, commercial) and external stakeholders (suppliers, subcontractors, clients) to gather quotes, negotiate costs, and finalise bid submissions.
• Provide strategic input on value engineering, risk allocation, and cost-saving opportunities while preparing detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership and clients.
• Mentor and support junior estimators, fostering best practices, reviewing work products, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools within the department.

About the Role

We are seeking a Structural Field Inspector to perform inspections within heavy industrial manufacturing environments. This role involves evaluating structural components, identifying deficiencies, and documenting findings to support safety and compliance.

This is a hands-on field position working with a variety of structures and equipment, with reporting reviewed by engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on:
• Overhead cranes and crane runways
• Building structures (columns, roof trusses)
• Walking/working surfaces
• Concrete structures
• Below-the-hook lifting devices
• Identify and document structural deficiencies
• Capture findings using a tablet and digital photos
• Upload inspection data and assist with report preparation
• Work with engineering teams to finalize reports
• Operate manlifts and access equipment as needed

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
• Structural inspection
• Overhead crane inspection
• NDT (non-destructive testing)
• QA/QC inspection in industrial environments
• Experience in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industrial facilities
• Ability to read blueprints and/or AutoCAD drawings
• Comfortable using tablets and digital reporting tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Manlift certification
• NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT)

Schedule & Travel

• Monday–Friday, typically 8-hour shifts starting around 7:00 AM
• Occasional nights and weekends as needed
