Job Title: Tool Room Manager

Location: Barrington, IL

Salary: $105,000-$128,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Tool Room Manager to join our client's organization in the Barrington, IL area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient support of manufacturing and production needs.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate tooling workloads, personnel, and resources to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Track and analyze tooling costs, labor efficiency, and time spent to support continuous improvement and cost control.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for tooling, dies, molds, and tool room equipment to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Recommend and implement improvements to tooling processes, workflows, and equipment to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Support new product introductions by assigning tooling work, monitoring progress, and resolving start‑up issues.
• Lead and support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and continuous improvement activities within the tool room.
• Manage inventory and stock control of tooling, components, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, coach, and develop tool room staff, including performance management and workforce planning.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience managing a tool room or similar technical manufacturing function in a production environment.
• Strong background in tool and die, machining, stamping, molding, or related manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising skilled trades or technical teams.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for dies, molds, and tooling equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, including 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, cost tracking, and production scheduling.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with quality systems and standards such as ISO or IATF preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Technical education, journeyman training, or a degree in engineering or a related field preferred.

Gestational Carrier Requirements

To ensure a safe and successful journey for both carrier and baby, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Between 21–39 years old
• U.S. citizen living in a surrogate-friendly state
• Have delivered at least one child and are currently parenting
• No more than two (2) C-sections
• Not receiving government or public assistance (including Medicaid, WIC, SNAP/Food Stamps, or state-funded health insurance)
• No history of pregnancy complications (including gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or pre-term labor)
• No history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or major depressive disorder
• Not currently taking medications unsafe for pregnancy (including certain mental health medications)
• Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments
• Live a healthy lifestyle free of illicit or recreational drug use
• Have a stable home environment and strong support system

All qualifications will be reviewed in detail during your initial consultation.

Compensation & Benefits

We recognize the commitment, time, and care involved in being a gestational carrier. Compensation includes:

Base Compensation

• $60,000 – $70,000(First-time carrier to experienced carrier)

Additional Benefits

• $250 monthly expense allowance
• $500 maternity clothing allowance
• $10,500 for multiple birth
• Up to $10,000 for loss of organs (per contract terms)
• Lost wages (carrier and spouse, if applicable — based on employment verification)
• Travel reimbursement
• $200 per week for housekeeping (if medically necessary)
• $20 per hour for childcare (if medically necessary)

All medical expenses, legal representation, and services related to the surrogacy journey are covered.

Casual - Dayshift

Position Purpose:

• The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), within the Ohio Scope of Practice, provides therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to chronically and acutely ill patients requiring respiratory procedures.

What You Will Do:

• Provide Respiratory Care, ensure an environment of patient safety, promote evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibit professionalism in the care of patients and their families.
• Perform duties or responsibilities outside the normal routine care of the patient.
• Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures, diagnostic tests and education in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
• Record information/patient assessment on the patient’s medical record and maintain departmental records.
• Precept new employees as requested and participate in students clinical rotations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Communicate pertinent clinical information and collaborate with physicians, house staff and other health care disciplines regarding patient care, treatment and/or plan of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Successful completion of a 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care Program, or completion of additional educational requirements allowing eligibility to obtain registry credentials.
• Licensure / Certification: Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License to practice in the State of Ohio and National Board of Respiratory Care credential indicating RRT or CRT
• Experience: Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures such as aerosolized delivery of medication, mechanical ventilation, assisting with intubations and extubations, pulmonary function studies, emergency care, and obtaining and interpreting arterial blood gases.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware required.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

• At least 3 years' of clinical experience required, preferably in Wound Care.

• Wound Care certification preferred; will consider those with experience and able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
