Key Responsibilities
Ensure that production standards are met by efficiently running the machines and equipment
Set up, operate, maintain equipment and tear down as instructed
Run product at line speed as scheduled by Production Supervisor
Maintain ongoing communication with Production Supervision, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance as it relates to equipment performance and down time
Follow safety procedures and checklist for startup, emergency stop, and restart of the lines after down time
Follows all work safety policies and guidelines, such as Lock Out Tag Out
Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and /or safety issues/concerns
Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) product standards and guidelines
Maintains a clean and organized area
Cross train on other equipment/areas as needed
Maintain equipment records through paper logs or on assigned electronic device accurately and timely

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States

Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.
Position requires working around processing plant equipment.
Must be physically capable of working extended hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed and in varying elements that could include damp, cold, wet, hot or warm environment, standing for long periods of time.
This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
