The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable managing cases, drafting and propounding discovery, scheduling for several attorneys, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. The position requires the candidate to work in our office in Decatur at least 4 days a week. They can work one day a week remotely, with permission from the partners.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal

Position Overview
This role offers meaningful case responsibility and hands-on litigation experience. Attorneys in this office are expected to actively manage files, conduct depositions, appear in court, and try cases.
The practice includes:
- Trucking and transportation litigation
- General insurance defense
- Premises liability
- Construction and construction defect
- Product liability
- Condo association litigation
- Fraud-related insurance matters
Associates will have the opportunity to conduct their own depositions and gain trial experience. The firm places a heightened emphasis on fraud-related insurance activity and strategic case handling.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $95,000 – $180,000, commensurate with experience
- Performance-based bonus program (details provided during interview process)

- Hybrid schedule: three days in-office, two remote (Tuesdays and Thursdays are firmwide anchor days)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Georgia litigation experience
- Active Georgia Bar admission (required)
- Insurance defense or trucking litigation experience preferred
- Deposition experience preferred
- Strong analytical, writing, and courtroom skills
- Comfortable working in a client-facing, data-driven environment
