Microbiologist position include working with corporate and various Integra sites interpreting microbiological testing data, monitoring, and providing remediation support for the sterility assurance program used in medical device manufacturing.
The candidate must have experience interpreting and applying standards and regulations to medical device microbiological and sterility assurance programs for the purposes of interpreting data, tactical planning on a daily basis, implementing procedures, and remediation projects.? Design experimental plans to address specific microbiological quality issues as needed.

Ensure compliance of microbiology procedures, validations, and records with all company policies and procedures and appropriate regulations, including, but not limited to, FDA and ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AAMI ST72, ISO 11737, ISO 14644, ISO 14698, ISO 11137, ISO 11135, AAMI ST98, ISO 17664, CMDR, Medical Device Directive, and USP.
Interpret microbiological data in order to identify trends and issues that require investigation and/or remediation.
Contribute to risk management activities including PFMEA generation and gap assessments.
Scheduling coordination, material allocation and alignment of personnel in order to successfully complete project assignments.
Create site procedures for microbiological testing and sampling in alignment with global procedures, validations and in compliance with application regulations.
Serve as Microbiology representative on cross-functional teams for transfer, NPI, and other projects as necessary, including supervision of contract resources.
Work in controlled environment monitoring, water system monitoring, compressed air monitoring, bacterial endotoxin test method validation and monitoring, bioburden test method validation and monitoring, ethylene oxide sterilization, radiation sterilization and dose audit management, and re-processible device cleaning and sterilization validation is strongly preferred.
Ensure that all projects are in compliance with cGMP, cGLP, QSR (including Design Controls), ISO or other applicable requirements.
Support and address comments and suggestions associated with sterilization and microbiological test method validations and monitoring procedures.
Change control, non-conformance and CAPA support as a microbiology and sterility assurance subject matter expert.
Support the department manager with coordinating workflow, and providing guidance in the resolution of problems or areas of concern.
Qualifications : Minimum required education and experience.
Bachelors degree or equivalent with 7+ years of experience, Masters degree with 4+ years of experience, Doctoral degree with 2+ years of experience.
Bachelors, or preferably Master of Science degree, in Microbiology or similar discipline.
Demonstrates excellent organizational and communication skills.
Results oriented with a strong focus on quality principles.
Excellent technical writing skills with an understanding of good documentation practice.
Experience conducting microbial test method validations and managing projects independently.
Experience creating and changing procedures used in operations for microbiological monitoring of the environment and products.
Working knowledge of applicable microbiology standards including, but not limited to, AAMI ST72, ISO 11737, ISO 14644, ISO 14698, ISO 11137, ISO 11135, AAMI ST98, ISO 176647, and USP.

Duties and Responsibilities: As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000 workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include: Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.

Qualifications: GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as: Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Essential Functions:
- Positions patient to obtain study as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
- Able to position all anatomical parts as indicated by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Performs the preparation in order to insure the prompt commencement of the procedure.
- Ensures all necessary equipment is at hand prior to starting the ordered examination.
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, instructs and administers cleansing preps and contrast agents.
- Protects patients and other personnel by administrating proper radiation protection techniques.
- Protects the reproductive organs with appropriate apparel, if visualization of these areas is not required.
- Transfers and properly position patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications.
- Assists physicians in performance of examinations.
- As outlined in radiology policy and procedure and under the direction of the medical chairman the technologist will have proven competency in the administration of IV contrast media, to include venipuncture.
- Practices sterile techniques and prevents cross contamination. Secures and returns supplies. Maintains room and roomβs stock.
- Responsible for necessary equipment maintenance recommendations and troubleshooting when indicated. Keeps all necessary equipment maintenance logs which pertain to preventative maintenance of Emergency service.
- Makes sure all necessary supplies are in room and restocks room accordingly.
- Responsible for patient scheduling and smooth flow of schedule and patient preparation including contrast administration.
- Responsible for quality control of Cat scan examinations.
- Uses the computer system according to standard operating procedures:
- Able to enter studies in RIS and HIS, and track cases.
- Able to split and fix studies in PACS as necessary.
- Attends in-service training as required by the department
- Able to attend the majority of educational in-services.
- Explains procedures to the patient and answers any questions prior to the commencement of the procedures.
- Completes all necessary paperwork/documentation prior to the submitting of the procedure for interpretation.
- Assists in the instruction of student technologists

Essential Functions:
β’ Abides by standards established by the hospital, state and federal regulatory agencies.

β’ Explains the procedure to the patient clearly including wait times and performs the procedure assuring maximum comfort to the patient. Obtains best possible images by using prescribed technical parameters and techniques.
β’ Identifies the patients (both IP and OP) per hospital SOP before starting any procedure.
β’ Performs all hot lab related functions such as receiving, using and discarding of Radio-pharmaceuticals following/applying vendor, departmental and DEP rules and regulations strictly.
