The Front Desk Agent is responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel and providing exceptional service throughout the guests’ stay. Giving clear communication and assistance to all guest while upholding the Six Flags Standards of guest service. 

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Courteously welcome all guests and provide excellent service to ensure guest satisfaction

· Respond to or channel any guest requests/complaints to the department or proper manager

· Handle guest billing in a responsible and professional manner

· Use problem-solving skills to professionally handle any guest issue, question, or concern

· Communicate with other departments to address requests and concerns from guests

· Provide details and property information for guests stay prior to their arrival

· Operate the Front Desk property management system (Opera) to make reservations, review stay details, and billing information

· Check-in guests into the computer, establishes credit and give the guest accurate information

· Proper creation and distribution of room keys and staff keys

· Handle phone calls from both in-house guests and public calls

· Ensure transportation needs are being met for shuttling and check in & outs

· Adhere to house rules, departmental policies, and safety standards

· Communicate clearly with guests and management

· Assist in other departments such as transportation or housekeeping as assigned or needed

· Create customized itineraries for guests

18 years or older

· Must have general computer knowledge

· Computer experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Previous experience with Credit Card Machine and cash handling preferred

· Must be a friendly, outgoing “people” person with a good attitude and smile

· Previous experience working with the public in a service provider industry preferred

· Must be comfortable answering and transferring calls

· Possess ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Carrier Clinic, a behavioral health system, has been a trusted source of compassionate help and supportive healing for patients and their families since we opened our doors in 1910.

Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic's East Mountain Youth Lodge provides a continuum of out of home residential treatment services for adolescents between the ages of 13-18. We provide 24 hour clinical, therapeutic treatment for emotional, behavioral, psychiatric and substance abuse difficulties based on the resident strengths and needs.

1. Directly supervises and knows the whereabouts of every resident they are assigned. 2. Supervises, observes, and participates with residents in the carrying out of the daily routine (i.e. chores). Consistently implements all program procedures (i.e. point systems, level systems).

3. Runs activity, support and recreation groups with guidance from clinical staff. Organizes, supervises and conducts planned activities for groups and individuals. Provides assistance to residents in the planning of appropriate recreational activities.

4. Serves as a primary counselor for an assigned number of residents.

5. Assists residents in learning home management skills (cooking, cleaning, etc). Teaches residents about the importance of cleanliness, good nutrition, meal planning, prudent buying, etc., while guiding them in learning skill mastery.

6. Corrects client behavior by administering reasonable and fair disciplinary measures when necessary. Ensures each resident is informed of the rules and regulations of the program.

7. Provides crisis intervention to residents as needed. Assists in escorts and personal restraints of agitated residents. Attentive to building security and performs such checks as designed by the program.

8. Conducts resident room checks and room searches as designed by the program.

9. Carries a beeper for one week in rotation. Is on-call and ready to respond to staff shortages by calling and locating a replacement and/or filling the shift him/herself.

10. Inspects and handles belongings and valuables of residents to ensure that prohibited material is not brought into the Lodge at admission, upon return from pass, or as clinically indicated, under the direction of a Shift Leader.

11. Assists residents with daily living activities (i.e.; waking up, hygiene, cleaning room, participating in structure, behaving appropriately on activity).

12. Provides input to administration members regarding unit-based PI measures based on concerns, high risk, high volume issues.

13. Ensures that paperwork is completed accurately and within procedural time limits. 14. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

15. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Co-Occurring (Wolf), RTC (Eagle, Butterfly) Will have one of the following qualifications: (1) High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs with one year of experience working with youth in a group setting. (2) An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a field that is unrelated to social work or psychology with six months of experience working with youth in a group setting. (3) An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or a related field.
• PCH (Lotus, Sunflower) Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs, with three or more years of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting
• IRTS Level of Care (Swan) Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, with one year of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
• Complete Shift Leader and Medication Administration training.
• Maintains standards of confidentiality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Valid Driver's License from a USA state within 3 years of entering position.

Duties

During the course of their careers, Secret Service Police carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:

• Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
• Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
• Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
• Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
• Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
• Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
• Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
• Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

Organize, train and oversee technical staff in order to implement established maintenance, inspection and operational procedures. Must have proven skills in problem-solving and team building. Must be knowledgeable and have basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems including (but not limited to) the following areas:

• Manage union team members and oversee various jobs and projects.
  • Monitor communication methods for additional work assignments, upcoming events, and internal communications.
  • Ability to understand mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Understanding of Building construction plans.
  • Identify suppliers for replacement parts, obtain competitive bids, and enter purchase requisitions.
  • Use test data and electrical schematics to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.
  • Make recommendations regarding the need for modification to maintenance procedures, test procedures, instrumentation or setup based upon test results and machine operational performance.
  • Work in co-operation with engineering, technical and management or outside personnel.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records in order to perform effective preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain good Maintenance standards to ensure buildings, grounds and attractions are safe and visually in compliance.
  • Have the ability to plan, organize and train a maintenance team for a large Theme park, Safari, and waterpark.
  • Must have the ability to train safety, OSHA and protocol information to large groups and document the trainings.
  • Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders repeatedly, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and work overhead using both hands.

This overnight position is responsible for operation of the front desk and completing all nightly tasks including posting room revenues, performing food and beverage audits, reconciling revenues and cash for daily operations.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
