Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date and accurate sales pipeline using CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Ensure active follow-up on quotes to consistently meet booking goals.
• Cross-sell and up-sell controls, service, and mechanical project work to leverage the full range of capabilities.
• Provide retrofit solutions based on plans and specifications.
• Apply expertise in retrofit building automation solutions.
• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope, requirements, and project resources.
• Accurately estimate time, costs, materials, and subcontractor needs.
• Understand client needs, both technical and financial, to create customized solutions.
• Use standard operating practices to generate project pricing in alignment with company guidelines.
• Develop proposals for building automation solutions following established procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven ability to identify retrofit building automation projects, including modernization, upgrades, or replacements.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer relationship development and maintenance.
• Understanding of energy use, sustainability, and operational efficiency in systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, assess equipment and job conditions, and provide solutions.
• Able to translate technical knowledge into proposals that improve facility performance while reducing operational costs.

Responsibilities

• This technician will support a large federal agency's Network Infrastructure through survey, design, and deployment of structured networks and will be responsible for the upkeep of the security posture of the environment
• This is accomplished through projects such as new installations, life cycle replacement projects, Cable Plant and wireless installations that are compliant with commercial, TEMPEST, and NIST standards
• Lead network survey, design and installations under direction of the government
• analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks.
• Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
• Knowledge of DISA network topologies and standards
• Topology and rack elevations using Visio
• Create detailed Site Survey reports detailing a site's current infrastructure, NIST and TEMPEST compliance, along with design recommendations
• Configure, install, test, certify, and troubleshoot network infrastructure cabling
• Ensure Network cabling infrastructure is compliant with current NIST and TEMPEST Standards
• Build and install equipment racks
• Install, dress, label, and terminate Cat6 and Fiber cable in telecommunications rooms
• Test and troubleshoot network infrastructure issues on SIPR and NIPR networks
• Create accurate reports and documentation to design/certify network infrastructure
• Track, manage, and ensure project tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Develop Bills of Material (BOM) for network plant design requirements
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance and scheduled upgrades (Life-cycle replacements)
• Investigate physical faults in the network
• Report network infrastructure deployment status to key stakeholders
