β€’ Ensure all detainee transports are documented and detainee records and possessions are always safeguarded.

Provide trip documentation to the Transportation Coordinator in a timely manner.

β€’ Notify Operations Supervisor, Transportation Coordinator and/or Project Manager of any route variations/changes.

β€’ Ensure that any required detainee documentation is obtained from the transferring facility/agency prior to departure.

β€’ Ensure that the assigned vehicle maintenance and service records are in corresponding binders.

β€’ Report any safety related transportation issues immediately and complete a vehicle repair order and give to the Supervisor in charge of Fleet Management.

β€’ Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections on your assigned vehicle prior to departing the HUB.

Complete post vehicle checks at the completion of your assignment.

β€’ Ensure all required equipment is present in your assigned vehicle prior to departing.

This shall include, but not limited to, first aid kits, insurance card, flares, security devices, etc.

(See equipment list assigned to each vehicle.) β€’ Report for work at your scheduled time (assigned by Operations Supervisor daily).

β€’ If assigned to a stationary guard post, such as hospital duty, ensure compliance with Post Orders and hospital protocol.

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

Responsibilities:

β€’ Advise external and internal clients on the federal income tax consequences of the full spectrum of corporate and shareholder transactions including US domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, formations, liquidations, distributions, redemptions, and reorganizations, with particular emphasis on consolidated return regulations

β€’ Lead engagement teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of designated Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) tax consulting projects, specifically section 382 ownership change analyses (both qualitative and quantitative), tax basis in subsidiary stock studies, earnings & profits (E&P) studies, transaction cost analyses, legal entity rationalization projects and group restructurings, debt modifications and workouts, and cancellation of debt income and attribute reduction modeling analyses

β€’ Research and analyze corporate and consolidated return tax issues in connection with the preparation, review, and delivery of written tax advice such as technical memoranda, tax opinion letters, and private letter ruling requests

β€’ Collaborate with leadership on the development and implementation of best practices and tools that provide for the continuous improvement of the National Projects Groups service offerings

β€’ Train, motivate, and develop staff, senior, and manager-level members on all facets of the practice including application of current and new/developing tax laws, engagement processes, risk management policies, engagement economics, and new business development

β€’ Team with M&A Tax leadership on effective execution of go-to-market strategy to achieve quality growth goals

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:

β€’ Team with other professionals to help identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the KPMG Tax practice

β€’ Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, and act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients


Qualifications:

β€’ Minimum five years of recent experience in federal corporate tax and consolidated return group experience in a Big 4 accounting firm including extensive experience with section 382 ownership change quantitative analysis; computations of tax basis in consolidated subsidiary stock knowledge preferred

β€’ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

β€’ Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list

OPR Chain Execution – ~80%

  • Proactively build and strengthen relationships with OPR groups ranging from 10–75 locations. Lead the activation and expansion of awarded OPR programs across assigned chains and key regional accounts by ensuring seamless contract compliance, formulary alignment, and site-level adoption.
  • Conduct executive-to-site handoffs from the Corporate OPR Leader; translate enterprise terms into clear site-level actions, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Lead field execution of conversions, item substitutions, product trials, and in-services; coordinate assets and training to accelerate adoption.
  • Build multi-site account plans; run periodic business reviews (QBRs) with chain stakeholders; identify cross-site expansion opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations Manager to ensure new-win intake and onboarding steps are completed accurately and on time.


LTC Execution – ~20%
