4. Sales and Channel Support

  • Help optimize product page content, feature callouts, and consumer-facing descriptions

5. Cross-Functional Execution

Customer Service Rep (Banking / Financial Industry)

Location: San Dimas, CA 91773 (Must be local to the area)

Duration: 3–9 Month Contract (project-based; potential for extension based on business needs)

Pay Rate: $25/hour (Weekly pay + benefits available)

Schedule: M-F Full-time start times either 7:30am or 8am– 5:30 PM (schedule may rotate)

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with banking, credit union, or mortgage industry experience to support a high-volume contact center during a system merger initiative.

This role is phone-heavy (majority of the day on calls) and requires someone comfortable assisting customers across a wide range of banking-related inquiries. You will serve as a one-stop support resource, helping customers resolve questions efficiently before escalation when possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle 50–80 inbound calls daily assisting customers with account inquiries, transactions, and general banking support

• Provide accurate, efficient, and professional customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Assist customers with a variety of financial topics (accounts, loans, general banking questions)

• Perform light cross-selling of products/services when appropriate (no aggressive sales required)

• Accurately document call details, notes, and transactions in internal systems

• Manage email communication and follow-ups with strong attention to detail

• Navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards

• Collaborate with team members and escalate issues when needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in banking, credit union, or mortgage industry (REQUIRED)

• Customer-facing experience within banking (e.g., teller, member services, banking support)

• Comfortable working in a phone-heavy role (majority of the day on calls)

• Must enjoy speaking on the phone with customers

• Basic computer proficiency (typing, navigation, data entry, email communication)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Professional phone etiquette and communication skills

• Ability to follow directions and document information clearly

• Strong written communication (for notes and email follow-ups)

• Ability to work onsite in San Dimas, CA

• Prior call center experience (high-volume calls)

• Experience with cross-selling or upselling (any industry — retail, restaurant, banking, etc.) *This is not sales – its offering options to customers.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – a plus

Additional Information

• This role is fully onsite in San Dimas, CA

• Assessment required (approx. 1.5 hours) covering typing, computer skills, communication, and attention to detail

• Must have reliable transportation

• Candidates must be comfortable working on the phone for most of the day
