THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Sr. Manager, Outbound Logistics you will be an integral leader in the strategy development and execution of final mile distribution processes. This position is responsible for executional processes within the distribution centersβ warehouse, final mile delivery performance, and total cost management. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, operational excellence, and the ability to collaborate and manage partners through evolving business needs while empowering and developing their team.
LOCATION
This position will be based in our Newport Beach, CA office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role.
WHAT YOUβLL DO
β’ Serve as the escalation point for Regional Logistics Leaders and facilitate the resolution of complex issues and networkβwide adjustments to standard work, including development and execution of business continuity plans.
β’ Partner with corporate and field restaurant operations to ensure Logistics Leaders gather the voice of the customer and drive continuous improvement in ordering, receiving, and delivery performance.
β’ Standardize and refine network processes, identifying risks, assigning stakeholders, and ensuring accountability through communication and training partnering with cross-functional partners and the Communications team.
β’ Monitor controllable and nonβcontrollable cost drivers and partner with Regional Logistics Leaders to standardize efficiencies and reduce cost variability.
β’ Lead the Outbound Logistics function, driving technology needs, process improvements, margin enhancement, and businessβcase development.
β’ Collaborate crossβfunctionally on LTOs, new menu items, equipment tests, and operational initiatives, resolving logistics issues and guiding communication with distributors.
β’ Partner with the Inbound Logistics Manager to assess quarterly DC capacity needs and maintain a longβterm DC roadmap.
β’ Work closely with FSQA to distribute food safety policies and updates, verifying compliance across distribution partners.
β’ Lead annual budgeting and negotiation strategy with the Sr. Director, Logistics for the distribution network and develop a highβperforming Outbound Logistics team through coaching and clear direction.
WHAT YOUβLL BRING TO THE TABLE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred; and/or equivalent experience considered.
- MBA or Six Sigma Belt certification preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations and 3PL or Warehouse Experience required.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- WMS, Oracle, Continuous Improvement, Contract Negotiation, Pricing Models, food safety compliance and foodservice/temp control experience preferred.
- Leverage and standardize WMS across operators, building relationships and enforcing requirements.
- Leverage critical thinking and strong analytical skills to execute solutions, communication and training.
- Possess extraordinary organization skills and ability to prioritize projects and complex issues in a fast-moving environment.
- This position will include national coverage with anticipated domestic travel on a quarterly basis.
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00β$222,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education. Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Administrator to support daily warehouse operations, including inventory control for both physical and system stocks (WMS), customer communication, and inbound/outbound freight scheduling. This role will also manage general warehouse administration to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant logistics operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and equipped with strong communication, Excel, and Outlook skills. Candidates with 2β7 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics are preferred. Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & WMS Support: Assist in maintaining accurate physical and system inventory records, ensuring alignment between warehouse activities and WMS data.

Qualifications
- Forklift operating experience preferred; certification is a plus but not required.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations at the logistics center, including inbound, storage, picking/packing, outbound, returns, inventory accuracy, safety, staffing, and KPI performance. This role drives operational excellence through strong field leadership, process standardization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Warehouse Operations
- Lead daily/weekly/monthly warehouse operations (inbound, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns).
- Develop and execute operational plans to meet service level and productivity targets.
- Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed and continuously improved.
Inventory & Quality Management
- Maintain and improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
- Establish and manage location control and storage policies.
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies, damages, or shipment errors and implement corrective actions.
Workforce & Team Leadership
- Manage warehouse staff (full-time, temporary, and/or 3PL partners), including scheduling and productivity tracking.
- Coach, train, and evaluate team members to build a high-performance culture.
- Promote strong communication across shifts and teams.
KPI / Cost Control
- Monitor and report warehouse KPIs such as productivity, lead time, OTIF, shrinkage, error rates, and labor efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage operational budgets effectively.
Safety, Security & Compliance
- Enforce safety policies, EHS standards, and equipment operation compliance (e.g., forklifts).
- Maintain facility security and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
WMS / System Operations
- Operate and manage WMS-driven warehouse processes.
- Maintain master data and ensure system accuracy for inventory and order flows.
- Troubleshoot WMS issues and coordinate with IT or HQ teams for enhancements.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
- 7+ years of logistics / warehouse operations experience, with proven exposure to end-to-end warehouse processes.
- 2β3+ years of people management or on-site warehouse leadership experience (direct or indirect).
- Hands-on experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) in daily operations, including system-based inbound/outbound and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational performance management.
- Proven ability to solve on-site operational issues with structured root-cause analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and data-driven reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics center environment, including peak seasons, shift operations, or weekend support as required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
