The successful candidate will work autonomously, managing approximately 40+ patients during 12-hour shifts on weekdays (8 AM to 8 PM) and weekends (8 AM to 4 PM). Duties include providing urgent and acute care, treating common illnesses, performing minor procedures, and interpreting EKGs and x-rays, primarily for an adult population.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work autonomously within a provider/MA/front desk model.
- Manage a patient load of 40+ per 12-hour shift.
- Provide comprehensive urgent and acute care for primarily adult patients.
- Treat common conditions such as colds, coughs, and flu.
- Perform minor procedures including incision and drainage (IND) and suturing lacerations.
- Interpret EKGs and x-rays.
