Medical Director / Lead Physician – Occupational Medicine
Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm | Colorado

About the position:
We’re looking for a physician who’s ready to take the next step into leadership while continuing to practice hands-on medicine.
This role offers a balanced mix of direct patient care and administrative oversight. You’ll care for patients while also helping guide clinic performance, support providers, and partner with state leadership to ensure goals around quality, productivity, and patient satisfaction are met.
This is a Monday through Friday clinic schedule, 8:00am–5:00pm. There is no part-time or reduced schedule option for this role.
Compensation:
Compensation is highly competitive, with a posted hourly range of $120–$150 per hour, translating to approximately $250,000–$312,000 annually, plus eligibility for up to a 10% performance bonus tied to KPIs and clinic performance metrics.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Providing direct occupational medicine and workers’ compensation care
- Supervising and supporting APPs and treating physicians
- Reviewing and signing off on charts as needed
- Partnering with the Practice Manager on staffing and day-to-day operations
- Supporting state-level medical leadership to ensure clinic performance goals are achieved
- Helping drive patient satisfaction and operational consistency
You’ll work alongside a strong clinic team that includes APPs, physicians, medical assistants, X-ray techs, physical therapists and PTAs, front office staff, and a Practice Manager.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Active Colorado medical license in good standing

- Current DEA license
- Current BLS certification
- FMCSA certification for DOT exams, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Colorado DOWC Level I & II accreditation strongly preferred (required within 6 months; certification expenses covered)
- Two years of Occupational Medicine experience highly preferred
- We will also consider physicians with strong workers’ compensation experience in urgent care, family medicine, emergency medicine, sports medicine, or internal medicine settings

- Experienced in critical care, medical or surgical inpatient care nursing as an RN, PA, NP, APN or inpatient coder preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills. Strong critical thinking skills, and ability integrate knowledge. Prioritization and organizations skills required.

Position Purpose

What you will do

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Service, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination and delivery of resident care and clinical supervision of staff on an assigned shift. We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.
