Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

· Performs competent break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to determine root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; and performing troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:

Essential KSAs:

· High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).

· Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in specific industry.

· Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.

· Possesses working knowledge and experience regarding electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems in related fields. Can analyze the problems, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs

Work in the Process Department operating the Deodorizer or Refinery systems to produce Crisco vegetable oil and shortening. This role is currently an 8-hour shift on 2nd, 3rd (non-rotating) and potential schedule change to 12-hour shift. Entry pay is $27.55/hr., advancement potential within 12-18 months to $37.68/hr., plus shift differential. Once fully qualified, employee would earn $40.78/hr. plus $2.00 premium.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Monitoring and accurately recording temperatures, pressures, and rates of flow for upward or downward trends
• Produce high quality products in a safe and healthy manner.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Perform analytical testing with lab instruments

Qualifications

• Experience working with processing equipment is preferred.

Education and/or Experience

• High-school degree or equivalent is required. Advanced degree a plus.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs, process flow diagrams, safety rules, GMP's and general instructions.

DHL has an opening for a Joint Ventures Agent at our CVG Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky. This position will be responsible for all activities involved in cargo operations. This position will process time-sensitive materials for pick-up, transit, and delivery and the sorting, loading, and unloading of cargo shipments. The position moves material with speed and accuracy according to established procedures to meet deadlines for business necessity.

• Breaks down station material, including transfer and inbound materials.
• Performs sort, load, unload, and other material handling activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Operates computer terminal to communicate with service centers regarding outgoing materials, flight materials, flight numbers, shipping methods, and any unusual activities.
• Operates scanner to process all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Successfully completes certification training and maintains currency in the use of all equipment as it relates to the loading, unloading, and material handling equipment, including, not limited to, forklifts, tugs, belt loaders, and cargo loaders.
