The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time RN (Monday to Friday) to work as part of our Hospice Home Care Team caring for patients and families in the west Albany and Schenectady county areas. What you will do:

Responsibilities:

The Beulah T.
Hinkle Intensive Care Unit is two-story, 36 bed critical care unit located in the E-1 and E-2 wings of Ellis Hospital.
24 beds are dedicated for critical care patients and 12 beds are designated as "step-down" or intermediary between critical care and medical/surgical units.
The ICU is a state-of-the art facility designed to provide care to adults who are critically ill, including: patients in shock who require hemodynamic monitoring; vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgery patients; and patients with acute respiratory disease processes who require mechanical ventilation.
There is a cardiac care area on the second floor of the ICU, which features cardiac ICU rooms equipped with operating room-quality lighting for use in emergency situations.
The centralized location of the new ICU brings critically ill patients closer to key services such as the radiology department, operating rooms, the emergency department, and the Anna Bennett Cardiac Catheterization Suite.
