Complete functional assessment.
Develop and implement BSP.
Behavior Specialist will consult after discharge.
Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT, LSW Team Leader, and supervisor.
Modify BSP's as necessary.
Attend all agency, departmental, and client specific meetings as directed.
Attend client psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
Conduct direct support staff training on implementation if individual behavioral support plans and related data collection.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field.
Must be actively pursuing BCBA Certification Minimum of 35 hours of training and education in behavior analysis and behavior supports.
At least two years' experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
Valid CPR and First Aid Certification Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
Must be computer literate BCBA must be obtained within 2 years of hire date in order to maintain employment.
