MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Manufacturing Supervisor manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for
production, maintenance, quality, other production-related activities, and shipping to ensure the
goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, to standard, and accurately shipped.
CORE & ESSENTIAL:
TASKS:
- Manages manufacturing staff by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintains quality by enforcing organization manufacturing standards.
- Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Analyzes production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintains good working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of- the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Flexible to work off-shifts and weekends due to a rotating shift schedule.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Preferred supervision experience or related field. High school diploma or equivalent required. In
lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and
experience (including military service) may be considered. Ability to read specifications,
schematics and manuals. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and
memos. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization. Ability
to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear). Possesses analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals with diverse types of people. Must possess
verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule/shifts.
Maintains a positive attitude and contributes to a positive work environment. Experience
operating a dolly, shrink-wrap machine, pallet jack, forklift and other equipment. Must be
results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite applications and ERP systems. Driving is a
requirement for this position. Therefore, must have the ability to travel domestically via
operating a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver license and driving record which is
acceptable to our insurance provider. Must have a vehicle in good working condition and ensure
it meets all safety, insurance, and legal requirements. The ability to travel by plane and/or
overnight travel may also be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate orally in a clear, concise and effective manner with the vendors, sales
representatives, management, staff, and the public in face-to-face, one-on-one and group settings.
Ability to use a telephone for communication. Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and
punctual attendance at the facility or other designated location. Ability to establish and maintain
effective working relationships with others. Use office equipment such as a personal computer,
copier and facsimile machines. Ability to communicate in writing in a clear, concise and
effective manner. The employee is required to sit, climb, balance, carry, push, pull, reach, and
adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, sit, and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to climb, traverse and maneuver on equipment and/or ladders while adhering to fall
protection requirements as necessary. The employee must frequently lift, maneuver, and/or pivot
up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift, maneuver and/or pivot over 65 pounds with assistance.
Must wear all required personal protective equipment in designated areas and use necessary care
to avoid placing self and others in an unsafe environment. Hearing and vision required to be
within normal ranges. Ability to accurately distinguish color variation. Read at, above, and
below shoulder height. Sufficient manual dexterity required to operate equipment. Physical
ability to operate dolly, shrink-wrap machine, pallet jack, and/or forklift and all other equipment
utilized in this position. Tolerate inclement weather, including heat and cold. Normal range of
tolerance to household and other types of typical industrial/construction chemicals and solvents.
Must have the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle, maintain a valid state motor
vehicle driver’s license, and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle driving record. Ability to
occasionally work evenings, weekends, and overnight travel required.

The Care Promoter, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients. The overall duties and responsibilities of this role may vary slightly depending on the market and size, location and patient volume of their assigned center. The incumbent in this role is an integral member of a Physician-led care team that is focused on providing excellent and comprehensive primary care for a specific population of patients. He/She guides patient through complex and routine medical and social challenges in a manner that fosters trust and respect between the patient and the care team.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides general nursing care, under supervision, so that physicians and clinicians can focus on more specialized areas in patient care.
Assists with exams or procedures, patient education and maintenance of medical records.
Compiles patient health information, takes and records vital statistics, takes blood pressure and conducts other basic care treatments. Records patients' medical history and other information such as test results in the medical record.
Prepares patients for examination; assists physician with exams; explains treatment procedures, medications, diet and physicians' instructions to patient; provides disease specific patient education.
Draws blood (phlebotomy) and collects other lab specimens; performs waived lab tests.
Prepares and administers medications ordered by the physician, fills pill boxes as ordered by the physician, changes dressings, applies bandages, removes sutures and other first aid procedures, performs IV Therapy in accordance with State Practice act; uses CPR skills when necessary.
Screens calls and walk ins; collects pertinent clinical information and relays it to the physician, implements orders as appropriate and documents observations and interventions in the medical record.
Maintains supplies & equipment and stocks and sterilizes instruments; practices OSHA safety standards; performs accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
Upon physician approval and authorization, calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy. Uses communication skills with appropriate medical terminology; and follows appropriate legal and ethical professional conduct. Completes internal certification to use the ChenMed Rx system to support physician medication dispensing.
Processes patient phone messages, returns calls and routes them to other team members as appropriate. Contacts patients to obtain and relay pertinent information from the physician.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

Graduation from a nationally accredited school for practical or vocational nursing required
Current, active LPN license to practice in state of employment required
If required by employment State’s Board of Nursing, IV Therapy Certification required
A minimum of 1 year of work experience as an LPN required
A minimum of 3 years overall clinical experience is preferred
Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus
EMR system experience is preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required w/in first 90 days of employment
High school diploma or equivalent required
PAY RANGE:
$20.2 - $28.83 HourlyThe posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.

Primary skills utilized/learned:
- Under the general supervision of the fluoroscopy operator, assists with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, which encompass the vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional radiology, and neuroscience service lines.
- The patient population shall range from infancy through geriatric.

- Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA
- Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA

Summary:
Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a wide variety of duties in the delivery of pharmaceutical care in the specialty pharmacies (i.e. the Pediatric Pharmacy, Critical Care Pharmacy, and Oncology Pharmacy) and inpatient pharmacy. Along with other staff, delivers medication related services to in-house patients, and the related take home medication services. Assists Pharmacists in performing quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions, per Ohio Revised Code 4729.42. Meets one of the following: • Current/active Certified Pharmacy Technician from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or obtains certification within 90 days of hire; maintains certification throughout the course of employment. • Possess an Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) Certification from the National Health career Association. Meets one of the following: • Currently registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy; maintains active registration throughout the course of employment. • Currently registered as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy and becomes a registered Certified Pharmacy Technician within 90 days of hire; maintains active registration throughout the course of employment. • Registered Pharmacy Trainee Willing and able to travel to external satellite locations, including having access to reliable transportation. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Experience preparing sterile intravenous (IV) products. 6 months of experience in an inpatient pharmacy, with unit dose and IV admixture services. 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting. 1 year of experience in a Home Care or Long-Term Care Pharmacy setting.
