Facility is seeking Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join team

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p (outpatient)
• Setting: Hospital employed; current practice is located within the hospital and 1 satellite office
• Office Call Required: After office call is shared among the current 5-providers; ED call mirrors the office call until 10p via phone only and then all call is held until the next morning or sent to a nearby location; no consults on the weekends
• Practice Staffing Model: Increased census; currently 2 physicians and would like to increase to 3 physicians; 3 APP?s in practice and 1 APP that covers Cardiac Stress Lab
• High volume practice (practice sees approximately 45-50 ppd; physicians see approximately 15-20 ppd with 20-30 minute appointments
• Types of Procedures/Cases: Bread and butter non-invasive Cardiology including ECHO, TEE, Stress ECHO, nuclear, cardioversions, cardiac consults for the hospital ? EKG and stress (on a busy day, 6-consults)

There are currently 2 GIs on staff, but both are unable to take new patients currently.

The office and surgery center are on the hospital campus, so no travelling across town! EUS and ERCP are a must for this position.

• Call Required: 7-days of ED call per month are required in base contract (includes 5 week days and 2 weekend days); additional weekend coverage (ideally 2 weekends a month) are provided by local private physicians (Friday 7a through Monday 7a); additional week day coverage is ideally covered by local private physicians OR employed physicians and paid at $1,000/night (ED call mirrors the schedule in Endo); typically call is resolved with a phone call and prepped for the next day
