The Executive Assistant II provides strategic administrative and operational support to two Vice Presidents leading critical functions in Investor Relations and Alumni Engagement. The position provides a wide range of administration, general support and analysis duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature. The position will have regular exposure to confidential material and requires a great deal of professionalism, discretion and integrity in dealing with internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate the needs and use discretion when setting priorities to keep the vice presidents updated and aware of meetings, agendas, travel, upcoming events, incoming emails and letters, situations relating to the administrative office, campuses, employees and visitors.
- Manages the leaderโs calendar and contact database to schedule meetings, make travel arrangements (airline, car service, rental car, hotel, etc.), order office supplies/equipment, prepare expense statements, reserve and prepare facilities and catering.
- Act as a liaison between the leader and employees, clients and all external contacts, by utilizing good judgment in determining when to act independently and when to refer matters for further attention.
- Handle a wide variety of complex situations and time conflicts involving the business/administrative functions of the office and is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material on a regular basis.
- Maintains accurate records and files; develops and maintains filing systems to include electronic and hard copy, computer diskette and network systems; ensures filings are in proper format and filed in a timely manner; supplies information upon request.
- Coordinates travel arrangements for external stakeholders, including flights, lodging, ground transportation, meeting locations, and onโsite schedules.
- Oversees reimbursement processes for external partners, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant expense submissions.
- Conducts venue research for meetings, retreats, alumni events, and leadership gatherings, evaluating location options, availability, capacity, pricing, and amenities.

Reporting to the Director of College & Career Persistence, the College & Career (CP) Counselor serves as a member of the College & Career Persistence Team. The CP Counselor accompanies a caseload of alumni on their unique paths to meaningful employment by supporting them in their Transition to High School, Transition to Post-Secondary, Transition to Career, and connection to Summer Programming. Essential functions:
- Actively support a caseload of 60 14- to 24-year old students and alumni as they chart their unique paths to meaningful employment using a curated suite of resources targeted at each transition in addition to creative problem-solving.
- Collaborate with students, alumni, and families through consistent, persistent, and creative outreach to 100% of caseload within a 6-week cycle.
- Conduct individual and group parent meetings to prepare 8th-grade students and families for the Transition to High School by equipping them with the tools to apply and enroll in best-fit high schools, including scholarship opportunities.
- Visit high school students and support their transition by setting SMART goals, reviewing academic progress, identifying areas of support, and connecting them to school-based resources, extra-curricular activities and summer programming.
- Support high school students in their transition to post-secondary programs by working with them to identify, apply, enroll, and persist in quality, affordable, and supportive four-year, two-year and certificate programs..
- Prepare alumni in their transition to career through workforce readiness skills, resume support, interview preparation, and connections to internships and employment partnerships.
- Provide constructive and critical feedback to all students and alumni using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.
- Assist in executing workshops and community events as it relates to each line of business.
- Problem-solve and support in crisis management by coordinating services and removing barriers.
- Update all data and case notes while maintaining the confidentiality of alumni in Salesforce.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner high schools and summer camps.
- Execute other duties as assigned. This position occasionally requires non-traditional work hours to run evening or weekend events and respond to alumni needs as they arise.

The Role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Lead to be a new resource and in-house expert for our growing team of school-based OTs, and create supportive, high-touch environment that provides 1:1 support to help navigate the complexities of supporting students throughout the school year. The Opportunity
The Mid-Level Life Solutions Specialist helps to ensure the financial security of our membership by assessing member life insurance needs, providing advice and / or referrals for advice, and making the appropriate recommendations based on membersโ individual needs and goals. May provide support to Health Solutions acquisition and retention based on member demand.

What you'll do:
Receives request for advice from current and prospective members through various channels, including inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, faxes, and video telephony. Special Acquisitions Team employees will primarily place outbound calls triggered from underwriting work items.
Asks questions to discover key information, including life events, and to understand member needs. Documents relevant information.
Uncovers and recognizes life events, understands and assesses the member's needs, financial situation, and goals.
Develops and understands appropriate life insurance strategies based on individual member needs. Provides intermediate protection planning advice, including insurance protection, estate planning and enhanced solutions like long term care products.
Recommends relevant life insurance product and solutions and refers members who may need financial advice to the respective department.
Motivates member to take action on recommendation(s) and resolves objections using intermediate sales techniques and intermediate persuasion skills. Implements recommendation(s).
Monitors legislative initiatives that may impact economy, society, and personal financial situation.
Educates membership on implications of economic, industry trends and tax law changes, as well as USAA's
products and services.
May conduct outbound follow-up calls to complete member acquisition of products and services previously discussed.
Serves as a resource to less experienced team members on escalated issues of a routine nature.
Guides and influences less experienced team members.
Work Hours:
Monday โ Friday / 6:30am โ 6:00pm (MST)
An 8 hour shift will fall within these hours
This role is required to be in office, with potential hybrid opportunity after 6 months.
What you have:
High School diploma or GED
Required maintenance of Life/Health license
Required annual completion of AHIP and Broker/Carrier appointments when applicable.
2 years of financial industry and/or life sales experience
Experience delivering frequent written and oral communication
Experience acquiring and applying new concepts and information
Experience processing and analyzing information
Experience fulfilling requests and meeting deadlines
Experience resolving conflict and negotiating
Experience multi-tasking in an operating systems environment
Experience participating in or leading teams
Successful completion of a job-related assessment may be required
What sets you apart:
4+ years experience working in Sales with life insurance
1+ years experience working in a call center environment

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $62,470.00 - $105,420.00.
