Your Challenges
- Requires limited supervision/oversight, has experience in the trade and can perform all work required as an Inside Machinist
- Must have the ability to manufacture complex components from stock or modify parts in accordance with all drawing requirements
- Must be able to perform the set up and operation of all types of machines (lathes, mills, grinders, saws, etc.) and hand tools used in the trade as well as the ability to use all precision measuring instruments such as outside diameter and inside diameter micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, calipers, verniers, lay-out tools and possess the ability to accurately record readings and measurements

- Ability to machine complex parts to close tolerances ensuring that the finish requirements of the drawing specifications are achieved with first time quality

What You Bring
- Must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance

The technologist will perform limited echocardiogram, carotid, and aorta scans with a manageable daily workload and structured schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform limited echocardiogram (echo), carotid, and aorta ultrasound scans.
- Complete up to 15 scans per day while maintaining quality and patient care standards.
- Operate Mindray M7 ultrasound equipment and utilize Roentgen Works PACS for imaging documentation.

The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
- You must obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career.
- Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
- Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500,1000 and 2000Hz ranges.
- Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
- Complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center(FLETC) in Glynco, GA and 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
- Sign a mobility agreement stating your willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas.
- Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.
