Responsibilities
- 1. Assesses the patient's physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care. Documents appropriately the information obtained from the ongoing assessment. Shares significant assessment data with the appropriate discipline.
- 2. Using the four tenets of Patient Family Centered Partnership, develops, communicates and documents a plan of care reflecting individualized patient problems and interventions to achieve the desired outcomes. Incorporates feedback from patient, family and all disciplines in developing the plan of care.
- 3. Uses critical thinking skills and judgment necessary to implement the medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient. Demonstrates basic clinical and technical skills according to established standards of practice. Anticipates potential changes in the patient's status and assesses the patient accordingly.
- 4. Evaluates the effectiveness and patient's response to the plan of care. Identifies appropriate nursing activities which contribute to the patient's progress towards achieving both short and long term goals.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8β13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters studentsβ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.

Benefits Specialist Job Responsibilities: β’ Administer and manage retirement programs, including 403(b), 457(b), and state retirement systems β’ Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and retirees regarding retirement benefits, options, and eligibility β’ Provide one-on-one retirement counseling and guidance throughout the retirement process β’ Develop and deliver benefits communications, workshops, and informational sessions β’ Manage relationships with plan vendors, providers, and state agencies β’ Oversee billing, reconciliation, COBRA processes, and supporting databases for retirement-related plans β’ Process enrollments, changes, withdrawals, loans, and retirement actions in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements β’ Prepare regular and customized reports related to plan activity and participation β’ Coordinate open enrollment activities and support wellness initiatives β’ Maintain accurate program files, records, and documentation β’ Collaborate with payroll, finance, HR, and external entities to ensure seamless benefits administration β’ Serve as backup support to other HR functional areas as needed
