Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients assigned to physician s panel, on an outpatient basis.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, autoimmune skin disorders, and complex dermatologic diseases.
Perform full-body skin exams, mole evaluations, and skin cancer screenings, with an emphasis on early detection and prevention.
Provide basic dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, electrosurgery, intralesional injections, and cyst removal.
Manage complex cases requiring systemic therapies, including biologics, immunosuppressants, and oral retinoids.
Work closely with primary care providers, behavioral health, and social services teams to co-manage patients with dermatologic conditions linked to chronic diseases such as diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and HIV.
Develop referral pathways for complex dermatologic cases requiring advanced procedures, Mohs surgery, or dermatopathology services.
Patients requesting procedures performed primarily for cosmetics may also be referred.
