American Honda Finance Corporation is currently seeking a Regulatory Analyst for our Compliance division. The Regulatory Analyst is responsible for evaluation of the highest risk federal and state laws with focus on credit bureau reporting (FCRA), lending to military members in Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Collection practices (FDCPA) and preventing lending relationships with terrorists and drug traffickers under OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control). The Regulatory Analyst will analyze law and implement policies from legal and regulatory entities with focus on the US Department of Justice, and the Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Key AccountabilitiesKey Accountabilities will include but are not limited to
- Analysis of significant federal and state consumer finance laws including credit reporting (FCRA), military members (SCRA), prevention of business relationships… identifying and eliminating potential risk issues including those related to all state and federal laws.
- Developing business process analysis and policies and procedures
- Actively monitor, analyze, research, investigate, communicate, and remediate concerning the appropriate prioritization of AHFC compliance risk
- Support in Federal and State Audits, tracking
- Special assignments identifying, analyzing, and resolving Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP) issues. Support in Federal and State Audits

Minimum Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or related field
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years finance industry experience, regulatory, legal, or compliance experience
- Project planning and project management experience

- Strong legal research and legal analytical skills

- Compliance Platform (Inovaare) with a strong Healthcare domain background to lead large, multi-track compliance and regulatory programs.
The role supports healthcare payer and provider organizations by driving enterprise compliance initiatives across Inovaare and related regulatory platforms, ensuring regulatory adherence, operational efficiency, and audit readiness.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing compliance and regulatory platforms (Inovaare preferred), leading transformation programs in payer or provider environments, and coordinating cross-functional teams across compliance, business, technology, and vendor ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities Own and manage end-to-end compliance platform programs leveraging Inovaare, spanning multiple workstreams, releases, and regulatory cycles.' Define program scope, objectives, success metrics, and delivery roadmaps aligned with regulatory and business outcomes.
Drive integrated planning across compliance configuration, rule updates, workflow automation, integrations, data ingestion, reporting, and user adoption.
Ensure delivery commitments across schedule, budget, quality, and scope.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client compliance leadership, regulatory teams, IT, security, legal, and external vendors.
Establish and run program governance, including steering committees, executive reviews, RAID management, and compliance status reporting.
Translate regulatory and business requirements into actionable program deliverables across compliance operations and technology teams.
Proactively manage risks, dependencies, regulatory changes, and escalations with clearly defined mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance platform solutions align with healthcare regulatory requirements, including CMS mandates, HIPAA, PHI handling, data privacy, and audit controls.
Collaborate with compliance, security, privacy, and legal teams to embed controls into Inovaare workflows, rules engines, and reporting processes.
Support audit readiness, regulatory submissions, and documentation for internal and external audits.
Oversee integrations between Inovaare and upstream/downstream systems such as claims, enrollment, provider data, member systems, analytics, and reporting platforms.
Guide teams on best practices for compliance platform architecture, release management, and regulatory update cycles.
Partner with architects, product owners, and compliance SMEs to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready compliance solutions.
Manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource plans, including onshore/offshore delivery models.
Track benefits realization, ROI, and value delivery tied to regulatory adherence, reduced audit findings, and operational efficiency.
Support SOW execution, change requests, and commercial governance as required.
