You will work hands-on in the lab, executing syntheses of novel molecules, characterizing products, and exploring photochemical and photophysical structure–property relationships. You will be closely mentored by experienced synthetic chemists and will collaborate with analytical scientists and engineers developing our printing systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot small molecule synthetic routes, with a focus on divergent or modular approaches to rapidly generate lead candidates.
- Purify products using chromatography and crystallization techniques.
- Characterize compounds via UPLC, NMR, UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
