Summary

The Education Division at Saint Xavier University invites applications for a full-time faculty lecturer position in Education. The selected candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Education Division's teacher preparation programs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Teach 12 credit hours each semester in education courses related to one's area of expertise. Courses can be graduate or undergraduate, in-person or on-line.

* Provide service to the Education Division-including curriculum, assessment and accreditation activities-and to the College of Liberal Arts and Education and the University.


Qualifications

* PhD in Education (or closely related field) or EdD preferred, Masters degree in Education or closely related field accepted.

* Evidence of or potential for excellence in university teaching, including use of evidence-based best practices in teaching and learning.

* Teaching experience at the PK-12 and collegiate level.

  • Perform vehicular and foot patrols of campus conducting routine surveillance of persons and surroundings.

Conduct thorough and detailed preliminary investigations of all reported incidents on campus by interviewing complainants, victims and/or witnesses at the scene of a crime or incident to gather relevant information.   • Establish a visible public safety presence, detecting situations requiring public safety assistance and rendering assistance as necessary and appropriate.
  • Preserve and protect at all times, University property from theft, vandalism and other mishandling; safeguard University personnel and other persons as well as their property on campus.
  • Partner with students, student groups, and various University departments and act as University ambassadors to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors.
  • Act as armed first responder to all emergencies on campus to protect life and property; including but not limited to, disruptive and/or disorderly incidents, various medical situations, and/or fires in an effort to restore and maintain order as well as ensure University cooperation with civil agencies.

Responsibilities:

Works with computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery from setup to operation to produce parts and tools from metal. May operate other machinery to include horizontal boringmill and CNC vertical and horizontal lathes.

  • Performs layouts, sets up, machine tools as required.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations and/or set up requirements.
  • Reads and interprets all drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance.

Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist / Administrative Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant billing operations while maintaining organized documentation and administrative controls. This role plays a critical part in supporting company cash flow, client satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare, review, and submit electronic invoices through customer billing portals and internal systems
  • Verify invoice accuracy against contracts, rates, and project requirements
  • Monitor invoice status and proactively resolve discrepancies, rejections, or delays
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to ensure timely billing cycles

Timesheet Administration

  • Collect, track, and validate employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile labor hours to projects, work orders, and billing requirements
  • Coordinate with supervisors and field teams to address variances or missing information

Invoice Support Documentation

  • Compile and maintain all required backup documentation including timesheets, receipts, approvals, and supporting records
  • Ensure documentation meets client and contractual standards
  • Maintain audit-ready records for all billed work

Document Control & Administrative Support

  • Manage document organization, storage, and version control for billing and project files
  • Maintain accurate digital filing systems and standardized naming conventions
  • Support reporting, recordkeeping, and administrative processes across departments
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in billing, accounting support, or administrative operations
  • Experience with electronic billing systems or customer invoicing portals
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required) or comparable tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project-based, construction, or field service environments
  • Familiarity with timekeeping or payroll systems
  • Understanding of contract-based or customer-specific billing requirements
