The Emergency Department of CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg is a 12-bed unit organized and designed for the immediate treatment of emergency medical and/or surgical conditions. We have a medical provider 24 hours per day, with An Advance Practitioner 9 hours per day. The Emergency Department had been designated a Level IV Trauma Center by Texas Department of Health. The department is responsible for initiating lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency situations and for providing emergency care for other conditions, including chronic medical problems and minor injuries and illnesses. After emergency measures are implemented, the patient may be transferred within the hospital, to another institution, or discharged home. Our average daily census is 60. The most frequent medical diagnoses seen are R/O Myocardial Infarction, Congestive Heart Failure, Pneumonia, Cardiovascular conditions, cardiopulmonary conditions, Diabetes Mellitus, Hepatitis, Pancreatitis, URI and Urosepsis. The most frequent surgical conditions are appendicitis, fractured hip and spontaneous abortion.
The ER staff work closely with the community by providing education on disease process and safety measures. We also volunteer our time and service to help out our local naval base during events such as "Wings over Texas" and our surrounding areas with events such as, "Beach to Bay." Our team has been recognized for exceeding the goal for treating a MI or stroke patient. They have made changes to the overall flow in the ER to improve the door to doctor times and over all patient experience. We have earned the Silver Award from the American Heart Association for our Stroke Care.

Coronary Medical ICU is a 24-bed multidisciplinary unit that provides care to a wide range of patients with serious medical, cardiac, and cardiac surgical disorders or complications requiring the highest level of monitoring and treatment. 8NT is a 36-bed unit with a focus on Neuro Telemetry and Neuro Surgical Services. The primary patient population is composed of stroke, brain, and spinal conditions that range from; seizures, brain aneurysm, laminectomy, cervical fusion, stable craniotomy mechanical thrombectomy after 24 hours of ICU recovery. We have a strong working relationship with our neurosurgeons and neurologists who provide education and guidance to help enhance our nursing care. The Senior Data Manager identifies all data deliverables made part of a contract and subsequently builds a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system. The DM identifies, with help from the Program Office, the appropriate preparers, receive the data within PDM, reviews the data for compliance, solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval and delivers the information to the customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of the contract.

In addition, DMs are responsible for reviewing sub-tier contractor requirements, building data tracks for supplier submissions, receiving data from various suppliers, and routing for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables to the customer as well as securing non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking.

What You Will Do

• Reading contracts for understanding of the deliverables
• Working in a PDM system to capture, manage, and track data deliverables and/or receivables
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to obtain requested data
• Proofreading data for compliance to the requirement(s)
• Managing the data deliverable schedule and providing the data to the customer on-time
• Learning and understanding contractually required markings applied to data
• Running forecast reports and providing them to the appropriate stakeholders
• Providing metrics related to on-time deliveries and outstanding dispositions upon request
• Reviewing and approving sub-tier supplier statements of work for data requirements
• Supporting program meetings and providing training to program personnel and customers and/or suppliers
• Handling and protection of Company Intellectual Property (IP) as well as U.S. government IP and classified information
