Department Lead — Inventory Control & Receiving

The Department Lead, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, will manage and oversee inventory control and inbound receiving activities for their assigned area(s)/account(s), ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient receiving processes, and strong warehouse productivity. The Lead will plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily inbound and inventory operations. You’ll be responsible for being the subject matter expert for the accounts you oversee and for driving daily goals and objectives in accordance with account-specific SLA routing guides and company SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Actively lead morning huddles and stretches; effectively communicate daily inbound and inventory goals, building updates, and company-wide information
- Set the tone for a safety-first, accuracy-driven inventory and receiving operation
- Oversee daily receiving operations, ensuring inbound shipments are processed accurately and on time
- Ensure proper system receipts, putaway execution, and location accuracy within the WMS
- Maintain physical inventory accuracy at defined company standards through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages in a timely manner
- Responsible for adhering to and meeting daily department goals in safety, sanitation, productivity, and quality
- Complete day-to-day tasks relative to associate/temporary staff schedules, time, and attendance

- Ensure associates are properly trained on receiving, putaway, and inventory SOPs; conduct and document method observations
- Partner with other leads to balance labor and ensure efficient shift operations using WMS, time clock, daily planner, and reporting tools
- Ensure all required documentation and system transactions are completed accurately and timely
- Proactively identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and receiving efficiency
- Assess warehouse areas to ensure they remain neat, secure, safe, and well organized
- Ensure proper shift handoff and prepare next-day plans for inbound workload, equipment, and labor
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of Lead experience working in a 3PL, supply chain, or warehouse environment, preferably supporting inventory control or receiving
- Hands-on experience with inbound receiving, putaway, and inventory accuracy processes
- Strong working knowledge of WMS and inventory management systems preferred
- Experience with wholesale compliance and routing guidelines to Amazon and other retailers is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft business applications such as Excel, Slack, and Asana preferred
- Proven ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- High school diploma/GED required; some college experience preferred
- Powered industrial equipment experience preferred

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION PLANNER
The Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC), in coordination with the Lehigh Valley Transportation Study (LVTS), is seeking a Senior Transportation Planner to lead regional transportation planning initiatives across the Lehigh Valley. This position plays a key role in shaping future infrastructure investments through sound planning, data analysis, and interagency coordination.
As a senior member of the Transportation Planning + Data Division, the selected candidate will independently manage complex transportation projects that intersect with land use, safety, system performance, freight, active transportation, and infrastructure management. The role combines technical knowledge with collaborative leadership to support the region’s evolving transportation needs and priorities.
This position serves as a trusted resource to internal teams and external stakeholders, including state and federal transportation agencies, local governments, and the public.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Working under the general direction of the Director of Transportation, the Senior Transportation Planner:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and supporting documents.
- Oversee the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and coordinate with state partners on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
- Support planning initiatives that address safety, mobility, system condition, freight movement, and multimodal accessibility.
- Manage transportation funding programs, including review of federal and state grant opportunities and support materials.
- Analyze system performance using a variety of data sources and tools, including GIS, travel demand models, and other technical platforms.
- Integrate transportation and land use policy by reviewing development proposals, local plans, and ordinances for potential impacts on the regional network.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports and briefings to technical and non-technical audiences, including elected officials and community groups.

Responsibilities
A Commercial Banking Officer will perform a variety of duties to meet the commercial service needs of business customers and will include some lending authority. This position requires an employee able to develop new business relationships with prospective customers and maintain continuous business relationships with present customers. A valid drivers license is required.
- Solicit new business from present and prospective customers
- Maintain ongoing business relationships with present customers in order to take advantage of additional cross-selling opportunities
- Provide sales information on a timely basis in order that this information may be included as part of customer service and sales performance reports
- Monitor individual sales performance versus objectives on a regular basis and discuss performance with appropriate supervisor on a frequent basis
- Serve as a member of the Bank's sales team (e.g., Branch Manager) and make group sales calls where these types of calls will improve the opportunity for new business development
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank commercial products and services in order to ascertain customer needs and to sell in conjunction with these needs
- Provide direct service to commercial customers of the bank with respect to deposit, loan, and other miscellaneous products and services
- Approve or reject loan applications within individual lending authority
- Assist customers in obtaining specialized services from other bank departments as necessary and provide help to customers with specific inquiries or service problems
- Maintain a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial services
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all customer service calls and meetings made with present and prospective customers
- Provide quality service to internal and external customers
- Demonstrate cooperative efforts in working with other departments and within own department
- Jointly establish annual quantitative customer service and sales objectives with assigned supervisor; this activity to be integrated with the Commercial Lending Department's annual operating plan
- Comply with established operating policies and procedures in order to maintain adequate controls and to support the Bank's adherence to outside regulatory requirements
- Communicate with management and staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities
- Respond to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policy
- Maintain appropriate records and provide assigned reports.
- Monitor and review accounts for appropriate risk rating to avoid risk rating changes by loan review, the Office of Comptroller of Currency (OCC) and other loan review processes.
- Provide guidance, on-the-job training and technical assistance to Commercial Loan Officers 1(s) and 2(s)

Qualifications
- Ideal candidate should have a minimum five (5) years experience in related positions.
- B.S. or B.A. Degree in a related field preferred
