Job Title : Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors Engineer) Category / Component : Officer • Active Overview Design, regulate, and oversee the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, including reactor design, fleet operations, and eventual defueling and decommissioning of nuclear powered ships and submarines from Naval Reactors Headquarters and associated Department of Energy laboratories and shipyards.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical direction in areas such as reactor and fluid systems design, reactor physics, materials development, component design for steam generators, pumps, and valves, instrumentation and control for reactor and propulsion plants, testing and quality control, radiation shielding, and chemistry and radiological controls; review designs and analyses from laboratories, shipyards, and industry partners; coordinate with fleet units to ensure safe and reliable nuclear plant operation.

  • Perform non-critical medical and therapeutic procedures based on medical instructions. Collects phlebotomy and other lab specimens; performs basic waived lab tests.
  • Prepares and administers medications; changes dressings, applies bandages, removes sutures and other first aid procedures; uses CPR skills when necessary, all under physician supervision.
  • Maintains supplies, equipment, stocks and sterilizes instruments; practices OSHA safety standards; performs accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
  • Processes patient phone messages, returning calls and routing them to other team members as appropriate; calls patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician.
  • Upon physician approval and authorization, calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy. Uses communication skills with appropriate medical terminology; and follows appropriate legal and ethical professional conduct; authorized individuals will use the ChenMed Rx system to support physician medication dispensing.
  • Provides health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices. Follows up with coached patients via weekly calls.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

Overview
In accordance with Mercy’s policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations, this role provides professional nursing care to patients within the LPN or RN scope of practice. The position supports and operates under the direction of physicians while upholding the Mercy Mission, Values, and Service Standards. The nurse collaborates with healthcare team members to meet the individual needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

      ·  Answer triage calls and document patient communications in the Epic EMR; coordinate follow‑up with physicians and return calls within established timeframes.

        - Communicate with patients regarding surgical and clinic procedures, pre‑operative and post‑operative appointments, and test results in accordance with physician instructions.

      ·   Escort patients to examination rooms; obtain and review medical history, chief complaint, and vital signs.

  • Prepare patients for physician examination and ensure safety throughout the visit.
  • Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Perform clinical procedures specific to the specialty e.g. Urodynamics testing, Indwelling catheter placement, Trial of Void,  Post-Void Residual, Intermittent self-catheterization education.
  • Follow universal precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

At Mercy, we believe in compassionate care, professional growth, and a collaborative culture where every voice matters. Our Trauma Neuro Stepdown Unit cares for patients recovering from traumatic injuries, neurological events, and complex conditions requiring close monitoring.
As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you’ll provide specialized, high-acuity care while supporting patients and families through critical phases of recovery.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience:
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required

Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software, and application issues in a ticketing system.

The candidate will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Centre.

Desktop Support Engineer provides Break Fix, fault diagnosis and resolution.

Providing fault analysis to customer’s various core operating systems and platforms, as well be able to provide support and apply desktop fault resolution for the approved application suite.

Ideal candidate should have relevant 3-5 years’ experience in Windows Desktop support.

Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.

b)Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.

c)Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.

d)Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.

Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, another authorized desktop application.

Should have basic knowledge of Mac operating system, to support Apple pc users.

Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware.

Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers.

Performs remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment.

Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.

Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices and Telecoms.

This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.
