Production Technician - PRINT SERVICES

Work Location - Hercules, CA

Shift - 6 AM to 4.30 PM Monday to Thursdays

Pay - $25/hour to $28/hour

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual with a strong mechanical aptitude. In this role, the ideal candidate will produce high-quality printed materials by studying job specifications, setting up, operating, adjusting and controlling all aspects of the print job to final finishing. Prior experience operating a printing press is required.

• Ability to follow work instructions and production job tickets to produce quality and accurate work.
• Execute booklet binding and coil binding. Produce various folds such as pharmaceutical folds, double parallel folds and half folds.
• Execute cutting, padding, lamination and shrink wrap as necessary.
• Ensures proper balancing and prioritization of workflow to optimize utilization of resources to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure that work is produced accurately to the specifications provided by the production job ticket.
• Verifies print quality of output to ensure required customer standards are met. Verifies the output format to ensure alignment with established procedures.
• Assures compliance to required standards, procedures, guidelines and processes.
• Make recommendations to management for any areas that may need improvement.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in the digital print industry.
• Knowledge of print specifications for sheet fed and digital production processes.
• Knowledge of Press Operator and Finishing Operator functions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Job Title - Maintenance Technician -

Work Location - Hercules, CA - 7 AM to 3.30 PM - Monday to Friday

Pay - $42 - $45/hour

We are seeking senior Facilities / Utilities Maintenance Technicians to support a regulated manufacturing site during a potential labor disruption. Technicians will maintain and troubleshoot facility and utility systems supporting production and controlled environments, ensuring safe, compliant, and continuous operations. Candidates may come from electrical or mechanical backgrounds but must have strong experience with industrial utilities and building automation systems in GMP or cGMP environments

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and utility systems supporting manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems serving production and control rooms.
• Support building automation and monitoring systems, including Siemens APOGE, Assent Compass, Lab Watch, and Rees.
• Maintain utilities including CDA, nitrogen, chilled water, cooling water, hot water, steam, pure steam, RODI water, refrigeration, wastewater, and exhaust systems.
• Install replacement parts and new equipment per safety, engineering, and GMP requirements.
• Perform daily equipment rounds, record readings, and complete documentation.
• Maintain accurate CMMS documentation including work orders, job plans, and spare parts.
• Support audits, inspections, investigations, CAPAs, and change controls.
• Ensure electrical work complies with NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, NEC, and IEEE standards.
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors.
• Respond to after-hours or emergency service calls as required.

What You Bring:

• High school/trade school diploma, GED, or equivalent (e.g., ITC/NTC and above). Associate degree in electrical or mechanical field preferred
• 6–10 years of Facilities / Utilities Maintenance experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, food processing, or other GMP/cGMP-regulated environments
• Hands-on experience supporting production-critical utilities
• Building Automation Systems (BAS) experience; Siemens APOGE strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently

• PLC troubleshooting experience (programming not required)
• Freeze-dryer / lyophilization support experience
• Universal Refrigeration Technician certification

Key Responsibilities

• Document Leadership and Authoring:
• Provides medical writing leadership for clinical programs
• Acts as a medical writing subject matter expert and collaborates with the Clinical Science team to deliver on clinical documents including clinical study protocols and protocol-related documents (e.g. informed consent forms), clinical study reports, DSURs, Investigator's Brochures, IND clinical summaries/overviews, and CTD components (e.g. Module 2 summaries)
• Partners with the regulatory function to ensure timely completion of high-quality regulatory documents including health authority meeting requests, briefing packages, responses to requests for information, and other documents as required for submissions
• Vendor Management: Provides guidance to external writers on prioritization, content and timeline development, and process management to support clinical development and regulatory activities
• Process Improvement:
• Develops medical writing best practices
• Partners with the Quality Assurance team to develop new and update existing Standard Operating Procedures for Medical Writing processes and all clinical documents to ensure compliance with ICH requirements

Position Requirements

• Master's degree in a life science discipline from an accredited college or university; PharmD or PhD preferred
• Minimum of 8+ years of scientific or medical writing experience at a biotech/ pharmaceutical company or clinical research organization setting
• Expert knowledge of standard clinical regulatory document types and associated regulatory requirements (e.g. ICH guidance, FDA, EMA, Health Canada, Asia-Pacific regulations, etc.)
• Prior writing experience in Clinical Study Protocols, Clinical Study Reports, DSUR, Investigator's Brochures, IND clinical summaries/overviews, CTD clinical summaries, and partnering with external investigators to support Investigator Initiated Study Trials
• Expert ability of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, collaborative review management systems (e.g. SharePoint) and documents management (e.g. Veeva RIM)
• Experience in resource planning and management experience of contractors
• Excellent organization skills with a passion for delivering quality results
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively
• Ability to "roll up sleeves" in a start-up environment and a positive can-do attitude
• Must be willing to work onsite at least 4 days a week

• Independently design and execute experimental studies
• Conduct in vitro and cell-based assays to investigate mechanisms of action for potential anti-cancer agents and identify novel biomarkers
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, and independently troubleshoot technical challenges
• Collaborate closely with research and project team members to align efforts with key scientific objectives
• Present findings and provide project updates at individual, team, and cross-functional meetings

• PhD in cancer biology, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline, with 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; 1-5 years
• Strong experience with cancer cell lines and in vitro biology
• Background in cancer epigenetics and gene regulation is preferred; experience with ATAC-seq, CUT & RUN, bulk RNA-seq, or single-cell RNA-seq is a plus
• Hands-on experience designing and performing flow cytometry assays
• Demonstrated commitment to rigorous, innovative laboratory research
• Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for translating basic science insights into drug discovery strategies
• Extensive experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique, including cell-based assays assessing viability and function using siRNA, shRNA, CRISPR, and overexpression systems
• Proficiency in protein analysis methods such as Western blot, MSD, and ELISA, and gene expression analysis including qRT-PCR and RNA-seq
• Ability to independently develop, optimize, and troubleshoot mechanism of action assays; experience collaborating with CROs is a plus
• Experience with bioinformatics data analysis and visualization is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and lead scientific discussions
