• Play an integral role in an innovative new model of care using technology and digital patient engagement, to provide high quality, compassionate care
• Provides direct pediatric care via telemedicine and in person clinic time
• Minimal call. On-call coverage is mostly phone coverage for inpatient consults, with some telemedicine support. An after hours Nurse Advice Line triages and handles most outpatient calls.
• EPIC EMR, online diagnostics including PACS imaging and laboratory results
• Monday Sunday (rotating weekend schedule)
• The candidate must have completed Pediatric Fellowship training and be Board Certified/Eligible in pediatric endocrinology, and eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• The pediatric team includes 7 pediatric hospitalists, 4 pediatric intensivists, 9 neonatologists, 1 child neurologist, 2 pediatric endocrinologists, 2 pediatric gastroenterologists, 4 pediatric cardiologists, 1 pediatric orthopedist, 2 pediatric surgeons, as well as pediatric and neonatal APPs.
