Summit Health is seeking a Urologist who would like the opportunity to expand a thriving practice within a financially secure, physician-driven, multispecialty setting.
As an expansion of Summit Health’s Urology Department, we are seeking a BC/BE Urologist who is passionate about providing urologic care. The position includes independent clinic work in Bend and Redmond, procedures performed at an adjacent ASC to the clinic, robotics access and Q9 community call. You will be joining 4 Urology MD’s and 5 Urology APP’s who assist with open, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries as well as round in the hospital.

Join a Growing Orthopedic Program in Central Oregon
St. Charles Health System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our highly respected Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Physiatry Service Line. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment with access to advanced facilities, strong referral volume, and exceptional quality of life in Central Oregon.
Our service line includes nearly 60 providers representing the full spectrum of neuromusculoskeletal care and plays a key role in supporting a rapidly expanding regional trauma program.
About the Role
The Orthopedic Hand Surgeon provides comprehensive care for patients with upper extremity conditions, including elective, urgent, and trauma-related injuries from the elbow to the fingertips. The position includes a balanced mix of clinic, surgery, and hospital-based care, supported by experienced APPs and multidisciplinary teams.
Primary practice sites include St. Charles Bend and Redmond hospitals, Cascade SurgiCenter, and Bend Surgery Center.
Practice Highlights
- Dedicated hand surgery focus with opportunity for elective and acute cases
- Approximately 32 patient-facing hours per week for a 1.0 FTE
- Blend of clinic, surgical block time, and inpatient rounding
- Participation in orthopedic hand call rotation
- Optional participation in orthopedic trauma coverage if qualified
- Collaboration with orthopedic subspecialists, trauma surgeons, and APPs
- Opportunity to participate in outreach clinics as desired
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat a full spectrum of hand and upper extremity conditions
- Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgical procedures
- Provide conservative and operative treatment planning
- Interpret imaging and diagnostic studies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care
- Document care within the Epic EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement, education, and service line development
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Current or eligible Oregon medical license
- Unrestricted DEA registration
- ATLS certification
Preferred:
- Fellowship training in Hand Surgery

Position Overview
The Surgical Oncologist will provide comprehensive surgical care for solid tumors, including soft tissue, melanoma, endocrine, and breast cancers (excluding hepatobiliary). Clinical Care

What to Expect Hands on technical work that blends classroom, computer based training, and intensive lab practice; frequent troubleshooting under time pressure to restore mission critical combat systems and communications; strict adherence to safety procedures, configuration control, technical documentation, and test routines; team based maintenance and watchstanding afloat and ashore, often on rotating shifts to support around the clock operations; progressive responsibility as you qualify on systems, earn Navy Enlisted Classifications, and advance in rate.
Work Environment Assignments aboard surface combatants such as aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers and destroyers, and amphibious ships, as well as at shore based repair and technical facilities; daily work in combat systems spaces, radar rooms, communications centers, electronics shops, and shipboard network spaces; a mix of lab style environments and shipboard spaces with noise, ladders, confined areas, and occasional exposure to heat or weather when working on topside equipment.
Pathways, Training & Advancement Recruit Training followed by Apprentice Technical Training at Great Lakes, Illinois, covering basic electronics, circuitry, safety, digital theory, microcomputers, fiber optics, test equipment, and troubleshooting; strand training in either the Fire Controlman or Electronics Technician track, with FCs focusing on radar, ballistics, and fire control basics, and ETs focusing on communications suites and radar systems; follow on A School and platform or system specific C Schools, often with college credit recommended by the American Council on Education; accelerated advancement to E4 upon completion of initial school training and all advancement requirements, with continued promotion based on performance, time in rate, and professional development.
Enlist under the Advanced Electronics and Computer Field program, with final placement into the Electronics Technician or Fire Controlman rating during initial training at Great Lakes, based on performance and Navy needs; maintain AECF eligibility throughout training in order to retain any accelerated advancement benefits; fleet conversion into ET or FC from another rating may be possible for qualified Sailors, subject to screening and community manning.
