Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

What you'll be working on:

The base salary range for this role is $308,700 to $328,000per year based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

• Facilitates the donation process through coordination and communication of organ donor referral information and logistics. Partners with hospital personnel and internal triage team.
• Maintains accurate documentation of the medical screening process via data entry and follows established referral intake procedures.

• Communicates with the attending physician and other members of the healthcare team to establish rapport and ensure a collaborative planned approach for the donation discussion and authorization process.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years emergency or critical care experience in a healthcare setting or prior experience as a Paramedic or EMT OR 2+ years of healthcare experience with families, counseling, bereavement, and/or crisis intervention.
• Demonstrated ability to understand medical terminology and read a medical chart.
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and conflict management skills.
• Knowledge of medical and legal principles of authorization, donor evaluation, and management.
• Valid Driver’s license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements
