Job Details

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for:

1. Reading and understanding blueprints and schematics to accurately install and maintain electrical systems in the residential and commercial settings.
2. Performing wire pulls, conduit installations, and panel terminations according to NEC codes.
3. Utilizing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power tools to facilitate the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
4. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Conducting regular inspections and performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
6. Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with residential and commercial electrical systems.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
4. Familiarity with NEC codes and strict adherence to these standards.
5. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power tools
6. A valid electrician's license.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

  • Facilitates the donation process through coordination and communication of organ donor referral information and logistics. Partners with hospital personnel and internal triage team.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of the medical screening process via data entry and follows established referral intake procedures.
  • Evaluates medical suitability of potential organ and tissue donors by utili
  • Responds on site independently and/or in conjunction with assigned staff to all appropriate hospital referrals within designated time outlined per policy and procedure.
  • Collaborates with hospital personnel and clinical teams to develop an action plan that supports the option of donation is maintained and activation of the appropriate DCIDS team members.
  • Determines family dynamics and assesses the family’s understanding of the patient’s prognosis when appropriate to initiate the donation discussion.
  • Initiates the donation discussion and authorization process for potential organ and tissue donor families prior to, during and after death declaration. Provides families with the detailed information required to give legal informed authorization for anatomical donation.
  • Communicates with the attending physician and other members of the healthcare team to establish rapport and ensure a collaborative planned approach for the donation discussion and authorization process.
  • Provides education to hospital staff regarding authorization, family care process and donation process.
  • Responsibilities may be affected by increased donor activity. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Referral Response/Family Care Coordinator will work between 12 – 15 days per month – and be on call for periods of up to 24 hours.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years emergency or critical care experience in a healthcare setting or prior experience as a Paramedic or EMT OR 2+ years of healthcare experience with families, counseling, bereavement, and/or crisis intervention.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand medical terminology and read a medical chart.
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Knowledge of medical and legal principles of authorization, donor evaluation, and management.
  • Valid Driver’s license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements

Qualifications A bachelor's degree preferred or demonstrated consistent success in prior Underwriting role as evidence by satisfactory case management and quality review.Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience.Analytical skills with an established record to make independent decisions on complex cases and apply sound judgment in the application of rules.Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information, exercise tact, diplomacy, and resourcefulness.Proficient in computer skills and using various software packages.Ability to work accurately while maintaining speed and flexibility in a team and independent production environment.A high degree of organization and the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.Demonstrated strong leadership skills and a high degree of self-motivation and initiative to lead projects or committees.Displays agility to manage multiple tasks​ and adapt in a changing work environment.

- Start: $76,650.00 Pay Range
- End: $142,350.00 Geographic Specific Pay Structure: Structure 110: $84,350.00 USD
- $156,650.00 USD Structure 115: $88,130.00 USD
