We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice RN to join our team for an evening/night shift. This position runs from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM, providing critical support to our patients and team.

What to Expect:
  • Primary Hours of Activity: Most patient visits occur between 4:30 PM and 10:00 PM.
  • Overnight Coverage: From 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, the workload is typically lighter and consists mainly of urgent needs.
This role is ideal for nurses who value autonomy and want to make a meaningful impact during critical hours while enjoying a predictable schedule.

Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR registered sonographer.

License: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Experience: None required  

Certifications/Registrations: Obtained ARDMS or ARRT or CCI registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
 

In the state of Arkansas, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography-Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS-RVT), OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International- Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) is required within 12 months of hire and/or transfer.

  • Knowledge of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.

  • Knowledge of safe & proper machine operation.

  • Knowledge of machine emergency procedures and radiation safety procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements:

•    Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

•    Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

•    Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
