Position Overview

The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and multifamily electrical projects. This role focuses exclusively on preconstruction and bidding activities and does not carry project management responsibilities after award.

The ideal candidate understands real-world installation practices, labor productivity, material procurement, and risk evaluation — and can translate that knowledge into accurate, margin-focused estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs

• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing

• Develop labor projections and production assumptions

• Build complete cost estimates using industry-standard software

• Identify scope gaps, risk exposures, and value engineering opportunities

• Participate in bid strategy meetings with leadership

What We’re Looking For

What you will do:
