A Typical Day...Joining H&R Block as a Tax Associate means you will have the support of an expert team dedicated to providing you with the tax training you need to be successful. - Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools video, phone, chat, email
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
- Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
- Provide clients with IRS support
- Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
- Grow your tax expertise
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment
- Ability to work a minimum of 25-35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course1
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with virtual tools video, phone and chat
- Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
- Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
- High school diploma / equivalent or higher
