LHH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located near Danville, IN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on the production floor, lead continuous improvement projects, and perform other production-related engineering duties. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $85,000-100,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive medical insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with an uncapped company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes by assessing product requirements, ensuring manufacturability, and designing, modifying, and testing methods and equipment to achieve desired outcomes.
• Leverage expertise in product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials while collaborating closely with production teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, investigate equipment failures, prepare follow-up reports, and provide technical guidance to floor personnel.
• Perform root cause analysis to address quality concerns during production.
• Execute capital projects and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Lead or participate in Kaizen events to enhance manufacturing processes, implement Lean principles, and improve quality performance.
• Coordinate with operations and management to align on daily objectives and report progress.
• Work with maintenance, production, engineering teams, and external contractors to improve equipment reliability, service quality, and repair practices.
• Analyze workflows and optimize space and equipment layouts to boost manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop innovative solutions to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering is required
• Minimum of three years of manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing facility is required
• Must have experience working on the production floor with various types of manufacturing equipment
• Must possess the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams/schematics
• Must possess strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills
• Must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to succeed with little supervision
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional team

YOUR ROLE

This role is responsible for the day-to-day account execution activities (including order management, reporting/analysis, inventory management, SLA performance management, project management. This role supports an onsite, national, wireless customer.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Interface on behalf of the customer and the commercial organization to internal support functions including operations, IT, and finance.
• Responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and communicating functional and technical requirements of the client service portfolio to the appropriate cross-functional organizations in order to ensure delivery against all customer SLA’s.
• This position is responsible for managing moderately complex to highly complex service solution delivery and program management and will lead the implementation of proposed/new solutions and execution of key customer projects.
• Work with account leadership on business transformation projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery solutions improving overall program and financial performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Certor Sports is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Buyer Planner to own supply planning and procurement execution across assigned product categories. This role sits at the center of demand, supply, and supplier performance — responsible for translating forecasts into actionable supply plans while ensuring materials and finished goods flow efficiently through the business.

You will help manage “the plan” end-to-end: balancing inventory, production needs, and supplier capabilities, while remaining hands-on with tactical purchasing and sourcing activities in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the Supply Plan

• Develop and manage supply plans aligned to demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets.
• Support S&OP processes by reconciling demand and supply, identifying risks, and driving consensus decisions.
• Maintain planning parameters including forecasts, lead times, safety stock, and replenishment strategies.
• Monitor inventory health, service levels, and supply risks; proactively adjust plans to prevent disruption.

Execute Tactical Procurement

• Create and manage purchase orders across materials, components, and finished goods.
• Drive supplier follow-up, confirmations, and delivery performance to ensure continuity of supply.
• Balance strategic planning with real-time operational execution in support of production priorities.
• Use ERP/MRP tools (NetSuite preferred) to manage planner workbench and purchasing workflows.

Drive Supplier Performance & Sourcing

• Build strong relationships with global suppliers through regular communication, reviews, and scorecards.
• Lead negotiations related to pricing, lead times, and payment terms within assigned categories.
• Support sourcing strategies and cost improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives.
• Partner with Product Development and Operations to support new product introductions (NPI) and smooth production launches.

Collaborate & Improve

• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Logistics, and Finance to improve supply chain performance.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and improved planning accuracy.
• Resolve quality, delivery, and supply challenges in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or sourcing within a manufacturing environment (sporting goods, hardgoods, or consumer products preferred).
• Proven ability to manage both strategic planning responsibilities and tactical buying execution.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, MRP planning, and supplier lead times.
• Experience working with international suppliers and complex product categories.
• Advanced Excel skills: experience with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).
• Highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across functions and with external partners.

• In good physical health

• Has had at least one successful pregnancy

In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Included within the various requirements for having a Gestational Contract validated by a Texas court is that the intended parents must be married and the surrogate must have previously carried a child to term. Additionally, there are residency requirements that apply to either the surrogate or the intended parents, but not both.

Compensation for a surrogate services generally starts in the range of $35,000 - $40,000, for base compensation with over all fees up to 70k, in many cases. The amount of compensation is dependent upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, whether the surrogate carries twins, what procedures a surrogate is required to undergo and whether the delivery is vaginally or by cesarean section.
