The Urology Associate Professor specialized in Reproductive Medicine is a key faculty member responsible for teaching, research, and clinical care in the field of urology with a focus on reproductive health. This role requires a deep understanding of urological conditions affecting fertility and reproductive function, as well as expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility.

DSUI is recruiting an Associate Professor level candidates to serve as the Director of Reproductive Urology The Associate Professor will be appointed as a member of the full-time faculty of the Department of Urology reporting directly to the Chairman

Function as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics (UMHC), Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH), and Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) including responsibility for coverage of inpatient and outpatient cases as well as operating room supervision of residents and outpatient clinics in the Ambulatory Care Centers. Perform clinical activities through the University of Miami Medical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan as well as supervise and teach residents and fellows both in inpatient and outpatient settings. This includes surgical activities at UMHC, JMH, and VA. Will also provide Urology in-patient consultations and emergency on-call.

Qualifications:

• M.D. from accredited medical school, completion of approved urology residency training program, licensed or eligible for Florida license to practice medicine, Board-certified/Board-eligible in urology.
• Fellowship training or extensive experience in Reproductive Medicine and Male Infertility.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical care, teaching, and research in urology and reproductive medicine.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and scholarly activity.

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking BE/BC Urologists with subspecialty training beyond general urology to join our growing team of specialized urology providers. The successful candidates will work alongside a highly skilled group of physicians delivering multidisciplinary care for complex urological disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings at multiple facilities. Responsibilities include seven days of emergency room call coverage at a single center.

Requirements:

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
• Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship

The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for a Gastroenterologist, Motility focused.

The physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient care to GI patients at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital. He/she will also provide oversight for the motility program in Lennar, and spend an additional half day reading motility studies performed by hospital ancillary staff. He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, as well as rounding/teaching on inpatients at UHealth Towers, and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Preferred physician who has experience with motility programs and reading of esophageal motility studies, hydrogen breath to patients who require these services. 

Qualifications:  

• MD/DO required.
• Internal Medicine Residency. Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship.
• BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply.
• Previous experience reading motility studies and overseeing studies performed.

The Department of Surgery has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Professor of Clinical. This position reports directly to the Division Chief within the Department of Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine. The Physician provides patient care by interviewing and treating of clinical patients in order to meet their medical needs. The Physician educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and families.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote the mission of UHealth in achieving its role in providing medical education, research, and quality patient care.

• Participate in international, national, regional and local activities within the health care industry, which impact the future role of the Divisional Surgical Areas funding environment

• Participate in Oral Surgery Service and residency training

• Serve in key activities for the Department of Surgery as agreed upon with the Division Chief

• This individual is responsible for clinical care in all aspects of oral maxillofacial surgery as well as working collaboratively with the other physicians in the division

• Will be involved in resident supervision both at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System and the Miami Veteran’s Administration Hospital. In addition, this position will require teaching of students in both junior and senior elective programs as sponsored by this Division within the students’ surgical experience

• This individual will also be responsible for pursuing protocols to fund experiments under their supervision

• Documents all services in patient medical records

• Comply to Departmental Policy & Procedures & Hospital Bylaws

• Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of healthcare.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Candidates will have an excellent academic record

• Recognized teaching skills and expertise in residency, fellowship and medical student training is required

• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques

• Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatments

• Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper bedside manner

• Performs in tactful and professional manner.

Education Requirements:

• The Position requires an MD, and a DDS or DMD degree

• Eligible candidates must have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and be board-certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).

• Candidates for this position must have completed a CODA accredited Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Surgery.

• Candidates must also possess either a Florida Medical or Dental License and a DEA certificate
