Production Design Associate | Beer & Beverage Industry

Taphandles is an award-winning design and manufacturing company specializing in custom product solutions for the beverage industry. From tap handles and dispense towers to branded POS materials and experiential marketing elements — we help beverage brands stand out where it matters most: at the bar. We're hiring a Production Design Associate (0–2 years experience) to join our Austin team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an entry-level production role focused on execution — preparing production-ready files and specifications that bring approved concepts to life. You'll work closely with our Industrial Design and Project Management teams to translate designs into clear, accurate documentation for manufacturing and sampling.
This is not a concepting or creative development role. Success here comes from precision, consistency, and attention to detail. In-office only. Five days a week in Austin, TX.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
▸ Prepare and finalize Adobe Illustrator files for screen print, digital print, and other decoration methods
▸ Build and maintain product specification documents (SPECs) for manufacturing and sampling ▸ Set up, clean, and organize vector and raster artwork for production
▸ Ensure artwork accuracy and color standards using the Pantone Matching System
▸ Translate Industrial Design concepts into factory-ready documentation
▸ Coordinate with Project Managers and Sales to capture all requirements
▸ Support file handoff to overseas manufacturing partners
▸ Create simple 3D models in Rhino as needed for construction clarity
▸ QC all files and specs before release
▸ Organize and maintain physical samples, materials, and finish references
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
▸ 0–2 years in production design, graphic production, or technical documentation
▸ Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (primary tool)
▸ Working knowledge of Photoshop and Rhino 3D
▸ Familiarity with print production, manufacturing processes, and Pantone
▸ Detail-oriented, organized, and clear communicator
▸ Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

What you need to bring to the table:
- 2 to 3 years of electro mechanical assembly and testing of finished products.
- You will be able to train if you do not have all these skills in vacuum.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Trouble shoot and repair assemblies
- Excellent computer skills
- Vacuum experience
- Semi-conductor and SAP experience is a plus
- Utilizing routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.
- Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair. Identifies and corrects errors.
- Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components.
- Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details. May perform computer programming, repair or software installs.
- Details finished work.
- Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects.

The Role
We're looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our Partnerships team. You'll be the day-to-day point of contact for our affiliate partners — keeping relationships healthy, campaigns on track, and data clean — while supporting broader strategic partnership efforts.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to build a career in affiliate and partnership marketing. You'll report to our Director of Partnerships and get hands-on experience across the full spectrum of partner management — from onboarding to optimization to strategic planning.
What you'll do:
• Manage day-to-day affiliate relationships — onboard new partners, respond to inquiries, and ensure affiliates have everything they need to perform
• Monitor and optimize campaigns — track performance against goals, analyze data, and surface actionable recommendations
• Deliver performance reports — prepare weekly and monthly reports highlighting trends, wins, and growth opportunities
