Clinical Pediatric Geneticist – Clinical Faculty/Physician

The Department of Pediatrics and the Section of Pediatric Clinical Genetics at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Clinical Pediatric Geneticist .
The Section provides clinical genetics services in the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago as well as outreach clinics in Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. Qualified candidates must have completed an approved clinical genetics fellowship program and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric/Clinical Genetics and/or Metabolic Genetics by the American College of Medical Genetics and be willing and able to travel to the outreach clinics as needed. Candidates will be expected to participate in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric genetics services including direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, student and resident education, and clinical medicine. Candidates will be eligible for a faculty appointment in Rush Medical College at the level commensurate with their experience and accomplishments. Excellent clinical skills, teaching interest, and ability to work well with a small and motivated team are a must. The new pediatric geneticist will be joining one other experienced pediatric geneticist in a team that includes three pediatric genetic counselors and a genetic counseling assistant, among other colleagues.About the Position:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Capital Administrator plays a critical role in the organization and is responsible for delivering AlterDomus' CapAdministrationSM services to clients. This position performs scheduled and ad-hoc activities which results in the allocation of distributions and capital account balances for private equity partnerships. The position will maintain direct client communications and be responsible for overall client relationship. In addition, the Captial Administrator will be the subject matter expert relating to the actual economics of client funds and individual limited partner capital balances. The Capital Administrator will also be responsible for managing internal teams that help support him/her in meeting client deliverables.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain proficiency in the capital administration requirements of client partnerships.
- Perform data exchange between client and Alter Domus environments
- Execute and resolve GAAP-based reconciliation of fund general ledger to CapAssure’s GAAP ledger.
- Define and account for client requested adjustments to CapAssure’s GAAP ledger.
- Execute allocations of cash distributions and hypothetical fund liquidations.
- Analyze, reconcile, validate and post allocation results to CapAssure.
- Produce client reports and data extracts.
- Communicate results to clients
- Interact with client personnel at all levels of the organization for data acquisition, financial statement review and issue resolution. Work with internal quality assurance professionals and senior management within the firm to maintain high quality standards in a demanding environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and reporting methods
