About the Opportunity: Hybrid or Remote: On-site Only Shift: No On Call Schedule: 1 week a month Hours: 8 AM
- 5 PM Setting: Inpatient Duration: 9+ Months Special Requirements: Residency in Neurology, CDS, and DEA Certifications Responsibilities: Providing neurological care to 6-10 new patients per day, along with follow-up visits Covering two hospitals on a rotating basis (2 weeks at one facility, 1-2 weeks at the other) Collaborating with Advanced Practice Nurses (APN) for patient care Managing inpatient neurology services, with no on-call duties Performing lumbar punctures (preferred) and collaborating with the epilepsy group for EEG readings Qualifications: Experience: Residency in Neurology Education: Medical degree with completed neurology residency Certifications: CDS and DEA required Ability to manage inpatient neurological care Experience working in a hospital setting Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage a patient load Desired Skills: Experience: Experience with lumbar puncture and managing inpatient neurology Education: Residency-trained neurologist with relevant certifications Certifications: Experience with EEG readings is a plus Strong decision-making and patient management skills
